Had another fantastic stay, Jim was his usual cheery helpful self. His ladies who help with the breakfasts were very efficient and friendly, the kippers were a bonus. All in all a fantastic city centre place to stay. Very central, 5 mins walk over the bridge and you were in the city centre.

I'm in the middle of my stay at the Forth Guest House. Very clean, friendly and in a very central location of Stirling. Handy for the train station and parking also available. Had to leave early each morning on business but Jim Loudon (Proprietor) was accommodating with a continental breakfast. I would highly recommend.

Best guest house ever stayed in! Everything was perfect. Friendly, comfortable, ideal location, 5 minute walk to centre, super breakfast and loved the showeroom in room 4. Lovely luxury touches that we didnt get in hotels costing 3 times as much! Would recommend for singles, couples & families.

This charming stone house is one in a block of row houses, most of which seem to be regular family homes. We stayed on the top floor. Our room had its own bathroom, which is already remarkable for a B&B, and two comfortable beds. Heat is by thermostat-controlled radiators, one in the bedroom and one in the bathroom. There is... I LOVE this guest house!!! My family and I had the whole top floor to ourselves, which allowed my daughters to have a completely separate space from us while still close enough to supervise them. Our full Scottish breakfast was delicious and made to order. Our hosts were very helpful and we enjoyed chatting with them. This guest house is... More

A friend and I were stopping in Stirling for one night only and very much appreciated our stay at the Forth Guest House. Jim has a great sense of humour and made sure we had everything we needed (he helped me park the car when I was stressed about tight spots!). Breakfast was amazing and a nice atmosphere. As others... The rooms were a little bit small but really lovely! The breakfast was very delicious, the staff especially Jim were so friendly and helpful. The location was very good, only 10 minutes footwalk to main street and to the supermarket.

We selected this after seeing ratings/reviews on Trip Advisor, and were not disappointed. It was very close to the rail station, although we took a cab because of our luggage. The guest house was great! Rooms were quite comfortable, and bath was very adequate. It was very clean, and our gracious host, Jim, very very helpful with suggestions, etc. The... More
