Welcoming, friendly and comfortable. Close to the historic town and all amenities. Landlord and staff are so helpful with a warm, friendly nature. The B&B is within walking distance of the town and Stirling itself is steeped in history. Great place to take your family and friends.

This was an excellent B&B! Great location - it's in the centre of Stirling but set away from the pubs etc so nice and quiet. The room was small but comfortable and clean (Room 4). Breakfast was great - generous portion and well cooked, you get your own table too. The owner Jim is friendly and accomodating. There are free... More

Stayed here for 3 nights over Easter and was very happy with this B&B. Between the great location (railway 2 mins away, and the castle and monument are within walking distance), the quiet surroundings, the comfortable bed, the great breakfasts and the great hosts I can thoroughly recommend staying here!

Stumbled across this place by accident the other night when I unexpectedly had to extend my stay in the area whilst on a business trip. It put the allegedly 4 star hotel I stayed at the previous night to shame. Traditional décor, compact but immaculately clean. I had room 6 which is a small double at the front of the... More

My husband and I cannot fault this place. Immaculately clean with much more charm than you would get in a generic hotel chain, plus fantastic value. Lovely host Jim (who even helped us with directions) and the lady too (sorry I didn't catch her name). Breakfast was great, cereal, fruit etc. followed by a full cooked breakfast which set us... Great little B&B near the station and only 5 mins from the centre of town. Jim Louden (owner) is friendly host and happy to help if asked. There are 6 rooms avail and guess of similar standard either double or twin. I had room 4 looking out to the front of the building. The bathroom was small but perfectly suitable... More

We stopped for one night and the B&B was just what we needed. The room was absolutely fine and all that could be expected for a very reasonable price. The hosts were welcoming and friendly, and the guest house is perfectly located for transport links and a 5 min walk from the town centre. Breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty.

Despite the worlds smallest sink, the room was cozy and the house has a wonderful feel. Elegant breakfast room and very gracious hosts. Would loved to have stayed longer! The other review seem quite accurate.

We stayed at the Forth Guest House for one night and found it well met our needs. A clean room, great location, wonderful breakfast, and friendly hosts. And, it's so well situated for a walk to Stirling Castle. A great comfort for anyone but especially so for a Buchanan in search of his ancestors.
