We arrived at the B&B to be led to the loft room. This room was adequate but nothing special. Two single rickety beds at the top of three flights of stairs. The room was clean and had its own bathroom that was also clean, but nothing special. Ok for one night, but anything more I would have been disappointed. Breakfast... more

The worst plece that we've been during our trip round Scotland. We arrived at 5 pm as we write to them in a e-mail before leaving and there was nobody at the guest house. So we had to call them and they answered that the were coming. After 15 minutes arrived the husband and after a not good welcome he... more

This is a good middle of the road guest house and the description on their web site is just about right, small, friendly, family run and in the middle of town. The property is an old (1850 ish) town house that has been converted into a B+B. Consequently the rooms are on the small side, so if your are looking... more

Munro House fit our family needs well. Ena is a wonderful host, friendly and helpful. This is a convenient place, just a quick walk to the train station as well as the Thistle Mall and many shops and eating places. As with "older" Victorian homes, the rooms are smaller, but perfectly adequate. Not super modern, but clean and neat. We... more

As, I suspect, most others here I found this b&b through Lonely Planet. Sometimes with LP You strike out, sometimes You hit a homerun. This was neither. We got a room upstairs with a lovely view over Stirling and the Wallace Memorial. The beds where ok as was the shower. The breakfast was a treat, in very nice surroundings with... more

Dont stay here . I found this guest house in the Lonely Planet where it had a good review , they obviously rely on this good advert and now do nothing. On arrival we were greeted and shown to our rooms the man was friendlyish , after our introduction we went down stairs to the lounge only to find it... more

My wife and I stayed in Stirling for two nights to attend a wedding nearby. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Munro gh - our room had a lovely view out to the Wallace monument, the breakfast was great (nice fruit salad!) and Ena was a lovely host. The location was also ideal - a quiet street just out of... more

We stayed here in March 2005 for one night. While the accommodation was adequate, and the food was good, the welcome was somewhat abrupt and rushed, though not unfriendly. Everything was clean and nice enough. The room was pretty small, and so was the bathroom, but adequate. The location was close to the rail and bus stations. We felt that... more

My husband and I visited this lovely place last week. The owner is very sweet, and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. The breakfast was great, and she even made us extra porridge! Highly recommended. more
