We had our wedding reception here in February and cannot say anything negative about the Park Lodge at all. The planning and preparation for the day was seamless, with Mr. and Mrs. Marquetty and their son John in regular contact, providing help and guidance with the menu and drinks and allowing us access and freedom to prepare the reception/dining area... A hotel with a very relaxed atmosphere really ought to provide a better meal than the one I had there last week. It was a private function and so the menu was limited. On the plus side, those who chose the quiche and the chicken were well served. Cannot say the same for the soup and salmon diners. The starter... More

We stayed at Park Lodge Hotel this summer for one night. While the hotel does seem a bit dated on the inside, it does give one the sense of a trip back in time. Nothing really got in the way of our stay. Off-street parking was nice given the hotel's location in a residential neighborhood. Super friendly staff who made... More

I stayed for two nights and wrote the owners a list of problems after the first night hoping that these would be fixed. No heating at all in my room (the owner stated that I was mistaken then admitted that there was a problem) only a blanket and no duvet, poor lumpy pillows, one bath towel was smelly, the TV... More

I haven't been there for 3 years but the all round quality and friendliness was still present in abundance. The rooms are clean and comfortable and beautifully decorated. The food is still very nice although we didn't use the restaurant on this occasion. Highly recommended!

I chose the Park Lodge Hotel mainly for its convenience for the Ryder cup I was near the centre 6 mins walk and about 15 mins walk to the park and ride, I had the most enjoyable stay, as i was getting up so early to go to golf I requested sandwiches in place of my breakfast and I was... More

One couldn't ask for a more gracious, dignified yet friendly accommodation. The rooms are comfortable and quiet but I was surprised there was no box of tissues in either bedroom or bathroom and the bed was in need of a new mattress although when I asked for it to be turned as we were staying 4 nights it was and... A wonderful converted mansion in Sterling, only a few blocks walk to the heart of town. The B&b is run by a delightful couple. He was a chef for many years, and his son is the chef here now. The son was on holiday, so his father cooked the breakfasts, and we had dinner in the Lodge one night, which... More

One couldn't ask for a more gracious, dignified yet friendly accommodation than what greets you at the Park Lodge Hotel. Anne and Georges Marquetty have plenty of hotelier experience around the world, and it shows, but it is their personal touch that makes the difference. The rooms are comfortable and blessedly quiet. Breakfast in the dining room is very good... More

We stayed in Stirling for one night on our way North. This was the most expensive of three B and Bs we stayed at on the holiday and unfortunately the poorest. The hotel itself is lovely -a big Victorian house in a very pleasant residential area of Stirling and I had chosen it because it was furnished in period style.... More
