I was on a strict budget but still wanted comfort so this was a good place for a few days. It was very near the park & ride so getting into Stirling for shopping or the train (I went to Edinburgh for the day) was extra convenient. The hotel itself is in the service station stop but I didn't find... more

I shouldn't really complain, as I did only pay 9 pounds per night to stay, but the entire building smelt of damp. Upstairs worde then downstairs ( I was told it was because the carpets had been cleaned.....) It's an old Travelodge, so quite shabby, but the room was relatively clean, and when I asked them to hoover the carpet,... more

Very good location for Stirling, the room and facilities were very good, the room was clean, and tidy and actually larger than many 4 star holets I have stayed in. For a cheap stay I was very impressed. The evening receptionist was VERY helpful helping out with places to eat and visit before I even asked about it. The only... more

We stayed in this so-called hotel for two nights earlier this month. It was so bad I don't know where to start. The carpet and the duvet cover were both stained. The bed was rock hard. The lighting in the room was inadequate. There was mould everywhere in the bathroom. The false wall behind the toilet was damaged and it looked... more

Very basic Travelodge with the usual amenities. We stayed for 3 nights in a family room. After our first nights stay, after the room had been serviced we found only one set of towels, and no tea bags had been replenished. Reception were very helpful and pleasant, assisting us with what we needed, unfortunately the same thing happened again the... more

Stayed for one night as a stop over travelling further north. Having had a recent bad experience with a travelodge this has restored my faith. Friendly welcome, nice comfortable room, excellent shower. All round good value. more

I was having my doubts before I stayed here after reading some of the comments on here. I was pleasantly suprised to find that the room was really nice and comfortable. I think the hotel has been recently refurbished. I would definatelly stay here again for a stopover to the north of Scotland more

I was initially partially worried about finding the travelodge, but it's signposted "services" so was really easy to find. Checking in was very easy, accomodation was nice and cheap. Standard double bed, what looked like a new tv fitted, and bathroom had a new shower head. We stayed for 2 nights. There was a kettle and everything was as described.... more

We had a family room at the Stirling Travel lodge and it was perfectly fine. The reception staff were friendly, the room was a good size, bed comfy and shower excellent. We got a taxi back from the town centre and it cost £10 which was fine between 3. The hotel is next to the MOTO service stop and there... more
