I am a bit late in submitting this review. I stayed in August for 2 nights and was very impressed. Lovely comfortable clean room with en suite bathroom - the house was spotless. The breakfast was great too and good location. Also great for parking, I would highly recommend. Isobel and Brian are very nice people. Enjoy!

It was a really nice stay at the Wallace view. Although we arrived late at about 10pm, it was a warm welcome and they were really nice with us. The room was really nice, all decorated with flowers, and nice view from the window. The tv was full of different channels, we also found chocolates in the room near the... More

Isobel is an absolute delight, for me she embodies everything that I've come to expect from Scottish hospitality. Isobel and her husband Brian make you feel so welcome and they certainly go that extra mile, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are clean and homely, all with en suite facilities. You can enjoy a perfectly cooked Scottish breakfast, or... More

Rooms were lovely and clean. Breakfast superb. Isobel is a true delight. Within walking distance of several eateries. You could walk to the Wallace View monument from here. You could even walk to the city center if you wanted.

Isobel and Brian really make you feel welcome. The room was very spacious and clean and the en suite was quite big. The location was excellent. Breakfast was very abundant and really good. Isobel is such a bubbly nice person. She made us feel really welcome. The only negative point is the poor internet connection in the rooms. But apart... More

The owner greeted us with a warm welcome. Rooms were big with a decent en-suite (with shower). Beds were comfortable with lots of pillows. Rooms also had blinds and curtains which allowed for a decent lie in. Breakfast times are completely flexible. As late or early as you require it. Portions were massive, cereal, toast, full Scottish cooked breakfast, coffee,... More

The lady of the house made sure we felt at home from the very beginning. The rooms were lovely with tea and coffee making facilities and chocolate bars. We got the view of the Wallace Monument from our room, a very nice first picture in the morning. The Monument itself was in easy walking distance, the town itself is a... More
