I stayed in Castlecroft in February for one night as I was attending a conference. Although I was there for work, Laura was so welcoming she made me feel like I was on holiday. Laura is one of the nicest people you can ever hope to meet, and really went out of her way to make me feel welcome. The... More

Castlecroft nestles under Stirling Castle, and has ample parking. We had a warm welcome from Laura, who made us a reservation at a local restaurant, then showed us to our room. The room was comfortable, clean and warm, in spite of the weather being rather chilly. The shower was excellent. A hearty breakfast the next morning, then a brisk walk up... More

First, my wife got the date incorrect, but our host had no problem changing our reservation. As we had just flown in that morning, we were able to check in early and get a nap in. The location is a little hard to find, but near the castle. Breakfast was excellent. Overall this was a great experience and if we... More

Nestling beneath the granite outcrop which Stirling Castle stands is this wonderful guest house. I have been in many expensive hotels with worse service and none with a better breakfast! All local ingredients and home made bread make for a great start to the day. My room was large, warm spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The shower was torrential... More

Amazing location, just below Stirling Castle and walking distance to town. Lovely accommodation, cozy, clean and comfortable. Delicious breakfast, cooked to order, homemade bread. Laura was so kind and knowledgeable, we can't wait to return!

We thought Laura was a wonderful hostess. We had to print a boarding pass to fly out the next day. Her printer was out of ink so she drove to the store to buy ink, then let me use her computer to print the pass, which ended up taking an hour of her time because of some technical difficulties. She... More

Our family of 2 adults and an 8 year old were welcomed like old friends. Laura is a great host and is a mine of information and guidance. We promise to come back one day. The location is great with the little country walk up to Stirling Castle and the old town area. Parking in the old town is pretty... More

We visited Castlecroft for 2 nights and the accommodation was extremely good – comfortable, high quality and everything you could need. It was well placed for Stirling itself as well as giving easy access to the surrounding area. Our host was excellent, approachable and knowledgeable about the area but not too pushy. Our only upset was a long blonde hair... More

This place was perfect for our 3 nights in Stirling. The rooms were great, the food was outstanding, and Laura's hospitality was absolutely top notch. My wife thought the Haggis was the best we had during our 2 weeks in Scotland. In all my travels, I cannot think of a more enjoyable hotel or B&B experience than we had at... More

This was my second time at castle croft and can't find a single fault as it's well priced and good value for money and has the best breakfast i have had in any bed and breakfast. The room is spotlessly clean and has excellent bathroom facilities. The excellent adorable Laura looks after her guests like royalty and is always eager... More
