I stayed two nights in early November whilst visiting my son who is attending the university. The B&B is in a good quiet location with excellent views from most rooms to the mountains on the horizon. It's a short 10 minute walk to both the town centre and castle. The level of hospitality was excellent, with the breakfasts in particular... more

Just visited Stirling and surrounding area and used Castlecroft as a base. Easy access from the M9, easy walk to castle (and old Stirling). New owner extremely peasant, gracious and accomodating. We would highly recommend the B&B to anyone visiting the area. The town and the B&B were a high point of our triip. more

We wanted a base for a few days from which we could visit Stirling, the Trossachs and also Edinburgh, having flown into Edinburgh airport. Castlecroft was ideal with very easy access to the motorway but also within walking distance of the town. (We went into Edinburgh by train for our visit.) The breakfast was extremely good and Laura was very... more

Castlecroft is a lovely modern bungalow which was warm and cosy in late October and clean, well kept and comfortably furnished, with a real home from home feel. Set in tidy gardens with lots of small birds (goldfinches etc), it has a dramatic location below the castle hill, but is high enough for extensive views all around, especially from the... more

My husband and I travelled all over the UK for our 10th anniversary and Castlecroft B & B was definitely a highlight! The new owner, Laura is extremely kind and helpful. She has done a wonderful job of making the place feel warm and homey. Our room was very clean and quite spacious. We really loved the breakfast, it was... more

This B&B is situated at the foot of Stirling Castle, with stunning views from the guest lounge with windows looking out in three directions. A short easy walk to old town and the castle. I recieved a warm highland welcome from the owners Laura and her Mother Isobel. I was impressed by the room with its own private patio and... more

If you are looking for a boutique B&B in Stirling, stay at Castecroft. I took my 83 year old mother, her caregiver and my daughter to Stirling for an eight day vacation and the highlight was our experience at Castlecroft. Laura , the new proprietor, could not have been more welcoming or helpful. It's location at the base of the... more

This Guest House is well situated below the castle and is an easy walk into town where there are plenty of good restaurants. It has recently been taken over and the new owner was really helpful and keen to ensure we had a good stay. The sitting room is a great size and well laid out so that your not... more

From the time Francis greets you with her attendant group of Hounds, you feel at home in this great B&B. Located just under the walls of the Castle, it is about a 15 minute walk to the town itself. Our room was well furnished and very clean, and enjoyed a quiet aspect at night as well. The service was great... more

We stayed at this delightful B&B for 4 nights. Frances was ever so friendly and she really tried her best to make our stay comfortable. Frances' breakfasts are out of this world and my son really enjoyed her full Scottish breakfast and I enjoyed her warm scones each morning. There was WIFI facilitiy. The rooms were fairly spacious, clean and... more
