What an excellent little place this is! Such a friendly welcome, a really inviting property with a great view and location. We got tea and biscuits in the lounge on arrival and a fabulous breakfast in the morning. The location couldn't have been better, a short walk to the town on Saturday evening and an even shorter one to the... More

Laura is the consummate host and a wonderful person. Her lovely inviting house has a wonderful garden and tastefully decorated, spacious guest lounge with views over the countryside around Stirling. Our room was very comfortable and clean, with a modern roomy ensuite, plentiful tea-making facilities, and an exclusive view to the north of the Highlands that we had just come... More

A lovely place in a great setting and a wonderful charming hostess, Laura, who looked after us and other guests extremely well. Also excellent food at breakfast. Highly recommended as a place to stay to visit Stirling Castle and the Old Town. A highlight of our visit to Scotland

This B&B was our first contact with Scotland, and we fell in love! Laura our hostess, was charming, welcoming and funny. The room was comfortable, quiet, and we could hear birds. It is only 10 minutes from downtown on foot through the most wonderful nature path. Great breakfast, with homemade bread. We loved everything about this B&B. Thank you Laura!

Laura really made our family of three adults at home with her lovely hospitality, spotless room and nice little touches like Scottish biscuits and chocolate. The breakfasts were excellent in choice and quality, more than you could eat. Castlecroft has a beautiful garden and is located within close walking distance to Stirling Castle and the town centre. Laura is a... More

My wife and I have stayed with Laura on several occasions. This year we found that a refurbishment programme had taken place, in my opinion Castlecroft has always been well appointed, but it is now even better, well done Laura. You are certain of a friendly and helpful welcome and a generous breakfast completes an excellent bed and breakfast stay.

I brought my 11 year old son Matt to Scotland to explore his Heritage. Laura, was a perfect host and made my son and I feel very welcome. Our room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was the best we had during our two week stay in Scotland. At the end of our stay in Scotland, Matt said his days... More

Although the rooms are small, they are clean, nicely appointed, new bathrooms and have comfortable beds. The owner has spent a lot of time and money remodeling this home, and it shows that she has put a lot of love into it as well. The gathering room is large with lots of comfortable seating around the fireplace. The views are... More

Laura was a perfect host, helpful and friendly but also giving us plenty of space. She gave very helpful suggestions about the area and they all were excellent. It turned out to be a great location with a lovely (but short) walk into town through a nice wooded area. The rooms were great. The showers were great and the public... More

Laura checked us in and gave us lots of good information on how to walk to town, restaurants, etc. Our room (#1, upstairs) was quite large and had a double and a single bed. The beds were quite comfortable. There was also a desk, wardrobe, tea fixings, etc. Nice tiled bathroom. Needless to say, everything was super clean. Lots of... More
