We spent 1 night at Castlecroft on our way down to Edinburgh. Laura greeted us and was very friendly and helpful with a dinner recommendation. We were not particularly impressed with our room- it did not appear very clean/had a run-down appearance, but the view of the castle was nice. The sheets were worn and did not fully cover the... If you can find a better Bed and Breakfast we would be very surprised. The location is ideal. Laura could not be more helpful and friendly. On arrival a tray of tea/coffee and biscuits in the large guest lounge. The premises are spotless, towels changed every day. Breakfast excellent, cooked to order with home made bread. This was our third... More

Having stayed at the Castlecroft 3 years ago, we drove throughout the day to be sure of reaching it again for our stop-over in Stirling. It was well worth while. The bedrooms are wonderfully comfortable, the lounge is a pleasure to relax in. Breakfast is fantastic, and Laura is a most charming and welcoming hostess. Good free wi-fi is yet... More

Arrived by chance and found this to be an excellent B&B. Laura was and excellent hostess with lots of good information about the local area and evening dining. This was an easy walk to the Stirling Castle as well as easy access back to the highway. This was the only B&B visited during our stay in Scotland that offered PC... More

Our room was comfortable and clean, the bathroom was lovely and you have the option of lounging in the living room if you... More

My wife and I stayed at Castlecroft for three nights in early March. We were warmly welcomed by Laura (and her Mother) and promptly shown to our room. The room was a good size and we had a lovely view overlooking King's Knot. The B&B is very well located for both the castle and the city of Stirling. Breakfast was... More
