A two night stay at this hotel, and it was ok. Situtated in the centre of Stirling it was great location wise - the town centre is literally a 2 minute walk away. The hotel is a converted Georgian town house and our room was on the first floor at the front of the property. Even though it overlooked the... more

My husband and I stayed at the Terraces for 2 nights during the Easter break and would recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Stirling. The location is brilliant and within easy walking distance of the town centre (less than 5 minutes), Stirling castle and the old jail. Clean and comfy rooms, great breakfast each morning and... more

I was disappointed to read the previous review regarding this hotel. I am a regular guest at this hotel, through business, and always find the experience to be excellent. The management and staff are very friendly with good personalities, which is especially needed when staying alone. Since the new management have taken over, the menus have been upgraded and the... more

We road tripped Scotland without prior reservations and found finding an accommodation in Stirling to be the hardest. Out of luck, we ended up stumbling upon this hotel. It was a little more expensive than we hoped for, but ended up being worth every penny. We were given a suite on the lower floor which included the largest bathtub I've... more

I stayed at the Terraces hotel for three nights with my family. We had four rooms, a twin for my wife Evelyn and me, a double for my son Alex and his wife Laura, a single for Ms. Elder, Alex's mother-in-law, and a family room for my son Paul, his wife Sara, and our two grandchildren, Blake (9) and Sydney(6).... more

We booked for one night here in May and when we got there they had put us in a suite, which was fabulous. The place is very clean, the beds and comfy, our shower was lovely and parking is no problem. Breakfast the next morning was great and the hotel itself is perfectly located for exploring Stirling. You can even... more

Having decided to treat ourselves to a pre-christmas night away, we booked the Terraces Hotel in Stirling. This turned out to be the most relaxing break we have ever taken within the UK. The small friendly hotel was hosting a christmas party night and therefore upgraded us (without request) to the most fabulous suite. The food, drink and staff exceeded... more

Recently stayed in this wonderful wee hotel in Stirling. We were given a triple room that was both spacious and clean. It was obviously just refurbished and the bathroom was fantastic and ultra modern. We ate in the hotel at night and it was good basic food at reasonable prices- couldnt ask for anything more. Breakfast was good too. With... more

Have stayed here twice, all the staff are friendly and helpful, the room was a bit small but very clean, well maintained and comfortable - as is the hotel throughout. I've stayed at other hotels in Stirling and this is by far the best value, I'm not really into writing reviews but this place warrants one. more

The Terraces Hotel was a charming place to stay for our first night in Scotland. The staff were so nice and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean. The food was great and very filling. The location was terrific as it was close enough to walk to the castle or do lots of shopping yet it was far enough... more
