We stayed here just for the one night on the way through Stirling. The room was quite comfortable and clean, breakfast was good. Service was a little slow in the morning, as it appeared that there was just the one guy doing everything, but overall a fairly pleasant stay.

This is a tired and run down B&B not a Hotel. The Management photos are out of date and reflect a time when it was cared for. There is no bar or outside garden/patio area, nor is there a lounge area. my room TV didn't work with the exception of BBC. I was told I had to manoeuvre the TV... More

The room was small but fine. (Not like any of the pictures). Yes it was a bit run down, but we were only going to be there for 2 nights. Bed very comfortable, bathroom lovely, no pressure from the shower though. Breakfast on the first morning was lovely. 2nd morning a lot of people asking for butter, milk, bread to... More

Relative to others in Stirling I'd say this was good, but in isolation it just didn't have that friendly and welcoming guest house feel. The room was small but had little extras like an iron and hair dryer, which I woudnt say are standard in guest houses at this level. Bed was comfortable, limited storage and space though. Biggest let... More

Pluses first - the hotel is in a great location withing walking distance of city centre and castle. It has plenty of parking and is good value for money. However, when we checked in we were told that the shower wasn't working but the plumber was on his way. He didn't turn up, so we had to use the bath... More

Good location clean tidy comfortable if basic rooms. It has wifi but I did not use it. Breakfast was good cooked for you not pre heated. Only problem was the shower needed to be run for 5 mins to get hot water , think this needs sorted. Staff very pleasant and helpful and it is very low cost

Booked this literally last minute. Hotel looks a little worn but the room was clean. A good breakfast and no hassle checking in or out. Close to the town centre and Stirling Castle. Hotel has car parking on site which is really helpful and didn't mind us leaving the car there tondo shopping/sightseeing after we checked out.

Me and my husband stayed at this hotel last weekend in room 11 and yes it was basic but for the price paid you really can't complain, the room had everything required, the bed linen was clean and crisp. The young guy on reception was most helpful(we checked in quite late and he told us what pubs to go to. Overall... More

Ok on a positive note - it was relatively cheap £40 B&B. It is central and it has parking. Unfortunately the negatives out way the positives. The hotel was very dirty, all the carpets are old and in need of a hoover/clean, even the towels in the room looked very old. The shower had hair in it, never something you... More
