We stayed here for business and were not really impressed with the hotel. Beautiful hotel well appointed, 5 mins walk to castle. This was my 2nd visit to the barcelo in Stirling and i rate all Barcelo hotles in Scotland highly, especially since i have stayed in them all. The Bad points. My family room consisted of a typical "hotel chain" double room with the children shoe horned in a bunk bed in a very small adjoining room. The room was tired, in need of decoration, the odd repair and a thorough clean - which I find inexcusable. I conceed other rooms may be better - I suspect not.... more
