Stayed here 2 nights in February. Room was clean and bed was huge! Breakfast was good, choice of cereals and pastries/toast etc and the breakfast room was spacious with tv. If you don't have a car you would struggle slightly with having dinners out, we went to the pub next door on the first night but food wasn't that good.... more

We stayed here the weekend of the Scotland v Ireland match in Edinburgh, but couldn't get anywhere to stay there. We weren't the only ones who were there for the rugby, there was a coach from Louth in the car park. The HIE in Stirling was great, lovely rooms and the continental breakfast was excellent too. There's a regular bus... more

We booked into the Holiday Inn Express because of the cost and ease to locate. We stayed only one night in August 2003. If we ever go back to the area, primarily to see the Stirling Castle and Wallace’s Monument, will be staying there again. It exceeded our expectations. It looked like a fairly new facility. The facility was very... more

This is a nice hotel (fairly new build I think), with a lovely view of the highlands. I made my booking via the website as those had the best rates. On making my reservation I emailed the team at the hotel to find out if 2 glasses of champagne and a rose could be placed in my friend's room for... more

Fantastic stay in an immaculately clean hotel. The staff were very friendly and the free parking was handy. The reception area and breakfast room have recently been renovated and were lovely. The room was not as modern as the rest of the hotel, but was huge and had everything you could want. The big downside to this hotel is that... more

We stayed at the Holiday Inn for two nights during August on a short visit to Scotland. The hotel is located on an industrial estate on the edge of Stirling with a modern eating pub next door. It wasquiet at night and there was very good links with main roads for travelling. Being a Holiday Inn you get exactly what... more

We have stayed here 3 or 4 times now when visiting Scotland as love the Stirling area. The hotel is located on the outskirts of a business park but is quiet and has nice views of the hills and the Wallace Monument. The hotel is clean and modern, rooms quite spacious and king-size bed very comfortable i couldn't fault it.... more

Miles from anywhere unlike the stated "easy access to town": bank on £5 in a taxi or a 30 minute walk into town. No redeeming features (unless you count the business park it's sited on as one) or decent food options nearby (unless you include a dreary pub chain that stops serving re-heated/pre-packaged food at 9.30pm or Burger King) Arrived... more

We were in the Stirling area for a family birthday and needed a cheap and cheerful place to sleep 2 adults and 2 kids for a couple of nights. We had booked in advance via the hotels’ Internet site and benefited from an early booking discount, paying £49 per night. The room itself was basic. A double bed and a... more

Stayed here on business recently. Generally well maintained and presented and exactally what you would expect from HIE. My BIG problem however was with the other patrons of the hotel. Whn I arrived I was alarmed to find out that a dog show was in town for some particularly annoying small breed of terrier. AND THEY WERE ALL STAYING IN... more
