This was my second time to dine here and unfortunately it will be my last. The broad bean, pea, mint and ricotta mix on top of a bruschetta was the worst starter I've ever experienced. It was just weird!! No flavour and cold beans on a slice of bread??? The goats cheese croquettes which my partner ordered were not much... More

Stayed here for the weekend. Hotel is very modern and nicely decorated. It's in a great location for walking distance to centre. We walked to Stirling castle and it took about 15-20 mins. Rooms where lovely and this is my only complaint, the bed is just too hard. An optional mattress topper would be a good option. Apart from that,... More

This is a clean modern hotel with a small number of rooms and a boutique hotel feel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful I do however have to point out a few issues. The biggest for me is that this hotel is situated between a roundabout and the Waitrose Car Park. The external pics are to say the least... More

This is my fourth visit to Cook's and it won't be my last! Well fitted out restaurant with super friendly staff. The staff are a real asset to this place! The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. It has a car park behind it and it is centrally located. We had afternoon tea which was delicious. Everything was freshly... More

We had Afternoon Tea, a birthday treat from my Grandson. A glass of Proseco and or a cocktail tea or coffee accompanied by finger sandwiches, fruit and plain scones with jam and cream and a selection of fruit, madeira, orange zest cake and cherry tarts. The decor and service were good and I would recommend Cook's; they also serve lunch... More

Ugh, The room was dowdy, noisy and had an unpleasant odor to it. Wi Fi did not work. The hottest we could get the water to run was lukewarm. The most uncomfortable bed I've slept in in a long time. Very weird location, kind of in the middle of a roundabout, and in the parking lot of a shopping plaza.

This hotel had a nice room, but was a short drive from Stirling Castle. They said it was walkable, but it would have been a lot of uphill, especially with the stroller. The breakfast was nice but it seemed as though it was included (the menu had no prices) and then without warning 18 pounds was added to our bill.... More

Visited recently for a weekend break with friends. This hotel is ideally situated for access to shops & within walking distance of Sterling Castle. It's also just a 10min drive from the Bannockburn monument. Both of which are well worth a visit. The food was excellent & the staff very friendly. The rooms are very comfortable and have hairdryer, ironing board,... More

Nice place to go for a drink maybe, but not overnight. Stayed with wife and 2 children for one night for wedding nearby. £120 without breakfast, local Premier Inn was about £75 Stylish room, but location was on a very busy road,, and shower doesn't drain water away, had to turn shower off before I flooded the bathroom. 'Hotel' has... More
