After spending 7 Dayan Spain flying back into Edinburgh decided to have a stay over at Cook's in Stirling. We were pleasantly surprised with the whole place and certainly dining in the restaurant wasn't a mistake as it was excellent and very enjoyable and will certainly be repeating this again

This hotel has only 7 rooms but the rooms in which we stayed were very large. The rooms were very clean just like the very large bathroom. We had our dinner also in this establishment and it was excellent. Breakfast was not included but we could have a choice of breakfasts. Like continental, Scottish, full, or light. Just for a... Visited Cooks Restaurant as a precursor to our holidays and because I was given a voucher for Christmas. The restaurant was formerly the Bank, then the Adamo and I think marketed itself as a bit of a "sophisticated" place. The interior decor seems to me identical to before but the food is fairly standard fare. I had a Rib Eye... More

Stayed here the night before we went to the castle. Plenty of free parking and complimentary wifi. There is a lift from the parking level to the 2nd floor room. Checkin is in the restaurant. The room was clean and spacious as was the bathroom. The staff was helpful and friendly. Dinner in the restaurant was good and priced well.... More

Great room, large comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. The food was excellent both dinner and breakfast, friendly and accommodating staff. And there is an elevator from parking lot level to our 2nd floor room a big plus for travelers that stay in small B&B's. Located within walking distance of the shops in town, an all round great value for... More

Have had a few lunches and dinners here and it is s lovely place. Nicely decorated, professional staff, fab food and drinks and good value. I think either don't know about it or forget about it as it is out the town centre. However, it is well worth the short walk for a visit.

Stayed overnight here and was not disappointed. Hotel is lovely, room was a good size with large bathroom, bath and shower. Shower was excellent. We had breakfast and dinner here. Both very good. We did have a problem getting connected to WiFi but staff were very helpful and problem resolved quickly. Location is very good, you can walk to shops,... More

I stayed at Cook's for 4 nights last week for a business trip. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and also helpful. The in room shortbread I believe to be homemade and excellent. I would happily stay here again not only for business but personally. The hotel is very close to the city centre... More

We found this hotel on booking.com and were immediately drawn to it. On arriving we were greeted by the manager who was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a brilliant size, great tea making facilities and lovely shortbread in the room. Bathrooms were immaculate. We dined on our first night there and have to say that the food was... More

We came here as we could not get into Brea. Starter was warm bread, oil and balsamic vinegar, olives and bread to share. Huge amount - great value for £3.95. My husband then had steak and ale pie and I had the halibut with samphire, gnocchi and beurre blanc. We both enjoyed these but found them a bit over -... More
