I think we visited this hotel at the wrong time of year, as our experience really doesn't match the other reviews. On a positive note, the male staff. in particular. were very friendly and helpful. My wife and I stayed for 2 nights. The room we stayed in was spacious clean and comfortable and the restaurant for dinner and breakfast first class with lots of local produce.What really made it so different were the staff who couldnt do enough to help you.Best place we have found in the area to stay. more

Hotel very clean and tidy, meals excellent but the whole experiance was made by the friendly and helpfullness of Richard and his staff. This was our first trip to Scotland and we could not have wished for a better welcome. Would recommend this hotel to anybody wishing to explore Scotlands wonderful heritage. more
