We stayed at Ravenswood for one night and we can highly recommend Ravenswood. At around £55 it was very good value for money. It's fairly well located on the main Causewayhead Road so was within walking distance to town or the University.. It's a small and B so felt really homely. Stuart the owner was really friendly, helpful and seemed... More

Stuart was a very helpful and informative host from me initially emailing him, to checking out of the bnb. Stuart gave very helpful information about the local area and things to see and do. He even gave my husband some great running routes for his morning run. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was very nice... More

Where can I start, well I visited this lovely little bnb while on business in the area. There are several basic things I look for before I will stay anywhere. These are free parking. Free wifi and breakfast included. Obviously this little gem provided all these and more. I also got large double bed. A complimentary glass of whiskey and... More

Our host, Stuart, was very friendly and helpful. Our room was on a small side, but we still fit it, so no real complaints there! Already tired of all the travelling and sightseeing, so this was an excellent place to crash. The area seemed quite quiet, only the cars on the busy road were causing some noise. When ever I'm... Cozy, comfy and clean. Stuart, the owner, is very friendly and helpful, going out of his way to be welcoming and informative, as well as making a great breakfast, which can sometimes be a disappointment for vegetarians, but not here!. Excellent value for money. Would definitely stay here again. Perfect!

Stuart was very welcoming and helpful! The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room very cozy. Although it was a bit off-center, we were both very happy with this B&B! We'd probably stay there again, given the chance.

Fantastic experience: Good location, nice room, perfect breakfast and even a collection of DVDs. For breakfast: The best haggis I had so far - you should definitely try it. Parking is free just arount the corner and within walking distance are a restaurant and a bar frequented by locals.

Ravenswood is a beautifully cared for Victorian guest house, immaculate bedding and linen, all mod cons and the best full Scottish I have ever had, homemade bread and totally satisfying tea! Stuart the owner was hugely helpful even rescuing two damsels in distress when the local taxi firms could not help, Stuart kindly drove us to our meeting himself saving... More

Hello Netty10165, loving your review and rating of my guest house, many thanks for taking time to write. I use locally produced bacon and sausages from Cullens Butchers in Bridge of Allan, free range eggs from Gloagburn Farm near Perth. The brown bread is made daily by my bread maker, so always nice and fresh. Glad you liked your room... More

A great stay. Great host, great facilities and a safe place for the bikes. We were 4 blokes on the Round the Forth ride and would highly recommend this place. We arrived unannounced, but that wasn't a problem, since there was still one room available. The owner is very nice, helpful and welcoming. The room was big, since the en-suite wasn't a part of the original room, but an extension. But then, it was a triple room rented out as a double. Don't know, how this compares to the other... More
