Stayed at Campbelli overnight on our first night in France travelling up from Spain & we were not disappointed. Campbelli is a most delightful French country style house, although close to centre of Langon. The owners welcomed us with a pot of tea taken in the garden with the dog & various other animals that are resident. The rooms are... More

Four of us stayed at Campbellii in the two rooms they use for Chambres d' Hotes and we were very warmly welcomed and had tea served in the garden. Elizabeth is a wonderful host and we enjoyed lovely pre dinner nibbles and an aperitif with her and her husband Patrick and a chat before a delicious ( pre arranged) dinner... More

Lovely accommodation, great breakfast and attentive owners. Quiet despite being on the street, lovely garden, where we were served aperitifs and hors deuvres before a pre ordered dinner, cooked by the owner by request. Very clean, lovely decor, a really good one night stay en route back from South of France to St Malo.

We stopped over for one night in this exquisite town-house, tucked away near the centre of this small town. The homemade breakfast in the garden was superb, the rooms elegant and the hosts delightful. A real treat.

Stayed at Campbelli, which is listed as a Chambres D'Hotes (B&B); but this property is so much more than you would expect. Proprietor is Elizabeth Celestin, who is absolutely lovely and has paid such close attention to detail in the bedrooms, bathrooms, and the common rooms (conservatory, etc), as well as her beautiful seating areas throughout the garden. Also, has... More

We stayed at Campbelli for 2 nights, we were going to a wedding in the South of Bordeaux and after 6 hours driver and our GPS making us ger lost in the middle of nowhere our arrival there could not have been more welcoming and warm. You felt like you were in your own house, her hospitality and kindness as... More

We stayed at Cambelllii for 4 nights and really enjoyed our time there. Elizabeth obviously loves doing Chambre d'Hote. The room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast in the conservatory generous and varied. The garden was peaceful with its magnificent magnolia and cedars. But best was her wellcome - despite our rusty french we were treated like visiting relatives and... More
