Our son had booked a break for us at this manor house hotel with a 5 course taster menu dinner and breakfast. Getting to the hotel was very easy - if using a satnav ensure that you use the postcode RH6 8PB and not the hotel address postcode. It is sign posted for most of the way once you reach... More

My husband and I stayed here for a one night break whilst he was home form Afghanistan on R&R. We had the most wonderful stay and a brilliant 7-course tasting menu dinner and wines. All of the staff were very helpful and the set up was beautiful. We stayed on a Sunday and the gardens were very peacful and great... More

Have stayed at this hotel before. This time however it was a stay from hell.Service was fine, dinner was very nice. The problem was our room. Not very clean-dusty.We had the room called Anne of Cleaves. The fun and games started at 10pm after the kitchen had finished service. The wall of this room adjoins the kitchens, although it is on the first floor it travels... More

Stayed a night here for our 2nd wedding anniversary and had a wonderful time. Very lovely setting, peaceful and great service. Travis in particular was great as was Geza on the restaurant. Also another member of staff whose name I didn't get was also fantastic. Food was excellent and bed v comfy. Would highly recommend it.

We stayed here in the Henry VIII suite. The furnishings are superb, the door opened onto a patio where we ate breakfast overlooking the duck pond. Could not fault the hotel in any way. Lisa on reception was superb, very professional and informative.

An unexpectedly lovely venue convenient for Gatwick and motorway connection providing an excellent overnight break in a comfortable and secluded min-suite with own garden terrace. Restaurant: good food, good service and good wine.

When we found this hotel after driving through numerous new housing estates(what a shame). We were impressed.Because it is so enclosed with a lovely garden and pond area you could imagine it as it once was.The weather was good so we had a couple of drinks in the garden and it was nice and peaceful. Our room was very good with a... Stayed on an overnight offer package including the 5 course taster dinner menu and breakfast and a luxury room. Knew the hotel having used it for a family do a couple of years back and so knew what the venue had to offer and knew what a delightful setting it is. Not easy to find (the first time) and if... Having read some negative comments after we booked, we were apprehensive about this stay. We thought the 'five course taster' meal might be disappointingly meagre and we would be charged an excessive service charge. Well, in the event, the meal was really enjoyable and easily sufficient. Yes, we did eat plenty of the lovely bread, which was offered repeatedly without... More
