The room was OK, but nothing special. We stayed at the Inn, which is basically a small hotel. We didn't see what the cabins were like. The restaurant, however, was quite good, and since there wasn't anywhere else close by to eat, that's a good thing. The restaurant was only open Wed. - Sun. in June so be careful if... More

We spent two nights/three days in the main part of the inn. Lake Willoughby is really spectacular, and WilloughVale has a gorgeous view down the length of the lake through the mountains on either side. We liked the restaurant and bar in terms of food, service, decor, and view. One thing, which we've encountered in other somewhat upscale Vermont resorts:... More

We booked one night in the Conley, a lake view cottage, for a wedding. We hadn't expected too much given the reasonable price, but we're amazed by the accommodation. The view from the cathedral ceilinged living room was incredible, all lake and mountains. The kitchen was new with all necessities provided. The larger bedroom had a jacuzzi in-suite and a... More

We spent the night in a lakeside cottage, the view was stupendous, the cottage was well presented and equipped and the welcome was friendly, efficient and helpful. We only had one night but it would have been lovely to settle in for longer.

My husband and I stayed in the inn last week for two nights. Our room was on the main floor right behind the bar which closed at 9 PM. Noise was not a problem. We didn't hear other guest either. We had an outside entrance into our room with a ramp. Our room and bath were very clean. We saw... More

Great little getaway, continental breakfast delivered to your room. clean! very friendly and courteous! VAST trail access for snowmobile fun. Beautiful spot on Lake Willoughby. We were in the main building but they also have great cottages. We will definitely stay there again!

Thank you for expressing your thoughts. The little extra TLC of delivering breakfast to your door. is hopefully a plus for our guests. It occurs when we do not have the number of Inn rooms occupied to warrant setting up the Tap Room for continental breakfast. With the additional snow accumulation in early February the condition of the access trail... More

By far, one of the best places I've ever stayed. Nicole and Julian greeted us as soon as we entered and took care of us as if we knew them for ever. The Gazebo room was exactly as pictured. The inn is very clean and very well appointed. The town of Glover and Barton are right near by and there... More

Nicole, the assistant Innkeeper and Julian, our chef, told me of a very nice couple who recently stayed in Gazebo. Low and behold it's you! Thank you very much for your kind thoughts. I was away for some time off. It is very reassuring to know that the Inn is overseen by 2 such dependable individuals. keep an eye on... More

Stayed here for two nights this past weekend in osprey room. The lodge, restaurant and room were very clean and the staff very friendly. Great view from room of the lake. A couple negs...the shower is pretty small and the shower head not positioned great. And the beds were too hard. Woke up several times thru night when turning over.... More

We appreciate you enjoyed your stay. Thank your for the positives and negatives. The showers are the size they are in order to provide all rooms with bathroom facilities. The shower heads will be checked throughout the property for ease of repositioning. The salmon burger is being removed from the menu, but the ribs never. After Saturday, October 19th the... More

My wife and I just got back this morning from Vermont. We stayed at the Willoughvale Inn for three nights and enjoyed our time. Roy, Nicole and Julian were such nice person to deal with. Thank you for you expression of good feeling about your stay. I can't deny that the Courtyard Room can is affected by excessive noise coming from the Tap Room and I am sorry for that. Happily the Willoughvale stays busy through to Columbus Day. We will continue to have our dining room open Wednesday through Sunday until we cut back to 3 days a week after Oct. 19th. From Thursday, October 24th through to Memorial Day Gil's Bar and Grill will be open Thursday through Saturday evenings. The exceptions will be December 24th through New... More
