My plane arrived at 9 pm and I needed a basic place to stay overnight before taking the 5 hour train to Wales the next day. I found this hotel on the internet for (US)$ 59 and then using a few clues, was 99% sure it was the one Hotwire had for (US)$ 54. It was about the least expensive... More

Stayed here for one night, having a deal for 90pounds for accomadation and 10 nights parking. With this in mind it was a pretty good deal but i wouln't stay again. The outside look of the hotel is terrible. It looks old, dirty, filthy looking net curtains in all of the rooms and generally very uninviting. We booked a family room... More

We stayed here over Saturday nght and I must admit to being quite apprehensive having read some of the reviews on here. I was pleasantly surprised though. The rooms were quite small but warm, clean and comfortable. Service was great. The hotel is nly 5 minutes walk from the local villae which has two lovely pubs both serving great food... More

As a place to stay before you fly, there's nothing at all to demerit this hotel. All the bad reviews carp on about minor details, but if you're just sleeping there - and, if you want somewhere to leave your car for FAR FAR CHEAPER than Heathrow's long stay carpark, you could do a lot worse than stay here.

We picked this hotel as it was cheaper than most and it was considered an airport hotel with shuttle service to airport, for our two night stay before and after our cruise. The rooms were sufficient, but could not get cold water out of tap, only hot water in both. They did bring up a pitcher of ice water for... More

"Deluxe Luxury" is how the room was advertised - when I arrived in my room, I could have laid on the bed and opened the window with my foot - and at 5 feet tall, that will give you some idea of the size of room I had!! I didn't dare move my arms anywhere near my window, in case... More

The Thistle website styles this as 4 star and luxury - do not believe one word! The outside of the building is DRAB in the extreme, with dirty curtains and filthy windows. Interior, the rooms are very small, badly equipped and in need of refreshing. The restaurant food was really pretty abysmal (even lower than my already lowered epectations), and... More

We stayed here before a flight. When we arrived it was just beginning to snow outside. When we got to our room, it was very nice, very clean, but, VERY cold!. We tried turning on the heater and it just blew out cold air, we fiddled around with it and waited but it was still cold air with no element... More

The hotel served the purpose: sleep one night between flights. The room is basic but confortable and the location is good, close to terminal 5. One thing was not acceptable: charging a minimum of £7 for an hour on the internet. Transport from the airport can be free if you go to terminal 5 and catch bus #423 - be... More

Booked through lastminute.com as 'un-named' hotel. Very mercenery (mostly Asian)staff in reception, with some communication difficulties. All discounted adequate and frequent bus service to airport by touting for taxis (driven by their friends/colleagues). Captive for restaurant, as no other eating places nearby (according to reception). In-house restaurant extremely over-priced, very slow service and seemingly hostile staff when dietary preferences were... More
