The Crowne Plaza is an airport hotel just like almost any other in any part of the western world. Big, impersonal, clinical. In fairness, it has a large pool and a rarely used golf course. The management haven't quite gotten the hang of things though. Big queues for check-in in the early evening, and for checkout in the morning. They... more

Great Hotel with spacious rooms . They are also very clean and comfortable. Breakfast Buffet spread is extensive and good , and so is dinner. Service needs to be improved as getting their attention is really difficult. However all this marred by the false fire alarms .... at 2 am and 7 am. The hotel management did not even bother... more

I only stayed for one night here and the price was good as I got it through lastminute as one of their “secret hotels”. I checked in around 8 and had to return my hire car, I asked the best way to get back to the hotel and they said to go into the terminal and back out again. I... more

really lovely hotel, The staff is really nice and always try to speak in your language. The room was very clean. Although the swimming pool, sauna and steam room might be a little bit small for the main season, we enjoyed our time. The gym is also clean although it might be a little bit small as well. more

It is a decent hotel. But I am now at the Radisson Edwardian at Heathrow, I can see that the Crowne Plaza is far more expensive for being lower star. They charge 2.50 pounds tray charge, while the higher starred Radisson charges 1.50 pounds. Food is on average about 3 pounds more expensive each order. Laundry is cheaper, watching a... more

Carpets throughout smell as though they have never been cleaned. The lifts have a horrible mouldy smell. No iron or ironing board in the room as per website but when we called for one it didn't get delivered. Had to call again the next day. Had to ask several people for coffee in the breakfast room and it arrived but... more

We booked this hotel for two separate nights on Hotwire. For the price, it was an outstanding value. On the second night, the hotel could not find our reservation. We showed them our copy of the receipt, and the manager quickly resolved the problem. The rooms were large (huge by British standards), comfortable, and attractive. Food in the restaurant was... more

After returning from our 2 week holiday to collect our car as the receptionist opened our parking file to give us our pass out, there was a little yellow post it note on the top saying contact manager. The receptionist with big grin on her face said "its probably nothing" then chuclekled in a way that was very annoying. Long... more

We booked a room with 2 double beds as we were dropping or son off at heathrow the following morning, Room was for 3 adults yet had only 2 of everyhting eg cups left out - as it happens they weren't needed but if you book for 3 thats what you should expect, other than that an excellent hotel would... more

We stayed there for one night, May 31st and very pleased. The standard room was spacious , quiet and the bathroom had good shelves and storage space for toiletries. I only paid $49 plus tax, got it on hotwire.com (it's the only hotel with the golf course icon so you'll know you're getting the right one). We thought it was... more
