We stayed at this B&B for 3 nights and we had a lovely, relaxing stay where we were made to feel very welcome and that nothing was a problem. The location is great, and we loved being able to watch lambs run around from our bedroom or breakfast room window, as well as listen to all the birds. The room... More

I have just arrived back from a wonderful 2 day break staying at this B&B which was purchased as a Christmas present. Everything was spot on from the start of the booking process to the check in. We were greeted by Carol (owner) and home made flapjack! What a fantastic start to the break. We decided to purchase the optional... More

We stayed in the Rose Room for 2 nights at the end of March. The farm was easy to find using Carol's directions that were emailed to us after booking. Carol was very welcoming and gave us information about the local area, including places to eat. The room was lovely with views over the Wear valley, visible when the fog... More

We have just stayed at the Newlands Hall B & B on a buyagift voucher. We stayed in The 'Daisy' room and although I believe this is the smaller of the two, it was more than big enough for myself and my husband. We couldn't find anything that we could honestly moan about - there were so many little touches... More

As stated in most of the reviews and re-iterated here - Carol is an excellent hostess and did everything she could to make it a relaxing and comfortable stay for us.The Rose room is a large comfortable 3 bedded bedroom with a wonderful view across the moors. We have just stayed at the Newlands Hall B & B on a Groupon voucher. What a wonderful experience! The 'Daisy' room was home from home. We couldn't find anything that we could honestly moan about - all the 'extras' that were provided were much appreciated, from home made cake each day, variety of tea/coffee, lovely toiletries, even a fridge... We stayed a Monday and Tuesday night at the end of September. The B+B was easy to find but it's worth having a look on Streetview first so you know exactly where to turn off the main road. We were greeted by Carol, a charming lady who showed us to our room and was happy to help with any questions.... More
