I stayed at hotel with my mum we had a loveley time on our stay they were very freindly and made us feel welcome. The room was excellent well presented clean and spacious. My friend and I stayed at The Clifton Villa Hotel for 1 week. The location was ideal...great for the shops, buses and a few minutes walk to the promenade. We were visiting the area for a couple of days and found the hotel via the internet. Ideally located for the town centre and the beach. The accomodation was clean and tidy, good value and the breakfast was excellent. more

This must be the worst hotel I have ever stayed it. It was dirty and the noise at night was unbelievable. The breakfast was disgusting. Is there ANY meat in those sausages ? And I have never yet seen tinned tomatoes for breakfast. The Spa beggered believe -it was filthy ! more

Stayed here for long weekend. owners were very helpful and friendly. Could not do enough for us. Jim made some scones whilst we were there - the best we have ever tasted. Very central to town. Will be visiting this hotel again when we go to Southport. Well worth the money. more

What a great little hotel! the rooms were spotless and extremely comfortable with en suite power showers and flat screen HD TV's. Jim was extremely friendly and helpful and a fund of useful advice should you be visiting Southport for the first time. Will definitely stay there again, highly recommended.
