Where do I start? Dark corridors with poor lighting ( fell down some stairs at 10.30pm due to lights off and switch was at foot of stairs), room needed hoovered and dusted and they had an obsession with rugs. Worst breakfast ever with no butter or even Flora in sight and the inedible cooked breakfast was swimming in grease and... more

The room was good sized, clean and tidy. We had a tee and coffee facilities, fridge, safe deposit box, TV, good sizes bathroom with bathtube and powerful shower!... more

Stayed in what was suppose to be deluxe room, with a king size bed, which happened to be two beds pushed together, top quilt being very nice, with matching curtains, only to find underneath 2 single brown, not matching duvets. The bathroom was very tired. Breakfast was awful, I had eggs on toast, very greasy, this was brought to me... more

Have just come back from a stay at the Balmoral Lodge and loved it. Check in was quick, easy and friendly and our bags were taken to our rooms. We had Garden Twin rooms located in the Garden Wing overlooking lovely gardens with our own patio. The rooms were clean, nicely furnished, spacious and well equipped with plentiful tea, coffee... more
