Where do I start? Dark corridors with poor lighting ( fell down some stairs at 10.30pm due to lights off and switch was at foot of stairs), room needed hoovered and dusted and they had an obsession with rugs. We booked this hotel for last Friday to celebrate our anniversary there and it was absolutely brilliant! The location is in the quiet area within the walking distance from the Train Station. you have to remember it is only 2 star if you want the ritz stay at the ritz!! easy to find great location nr town but no noise from the town just a 5 min walk. staff were friendly and hotel was clean.the delux room was a good size tho the big bed did turn out to be 2 single... more

Stayed in what was suppose to be deluxe room, with a king size bed, which happened to be two beds pushed together, top quilt being very nice, with matching curtains, only to find underneath 2 single brown, not matching duvets.
