Nothing was to much trouble and enjoyed every moment of our stay and would be glad to return one day, the cleanliness was excellent with the food of very good quality and well prepared. Our hosts made us feel at home.

Me and my boyfriend stayed over two nights during the annual airshow, and we absolutely loved it. The hosts were so welcoming and warm, they made us feel right at home. Hopefully we will be back next September! Nic and mat x

Definitely one of the best small hotels I have ever used. The proprietors are very welcoming and obliging and the whole place is well-organised and spotlessly clean. I had a small but comfortable and well-equipped bedroom which was quiet during the night - no disturbance from inside or outside the premises despite being very close to the town centre. My... More

Have stayed with Jackie and Eric several times in preference to anywhere else in the area, They go out of their way to be welcoming and friendly and the accommodation is of a high standard, very comfy beds, tv and coffee/tea making in the room, decent hairdryer, and everything sparkling clean. The lounge for guests is perfect for relaxing and... More

We stayed at The Braemar for two nights, with three children. Jackie and Eric are warm and welcoming and the children felt right at home. The bedrooms were very comfortable and breakfasts were scrummy. They didn't complain when we ordered five different types of eggs between us! Will definitely rebook, thanks for a fab stay!

We booked The Braemar and Jackie was very helpful with how to get to the golf at Royal Birkdale. We were greeted warmly on arrival and enjoyed our long weekend here. Eric was also very helpful with advise on local sight seeing. Undoubtedly the best English breakfasts I have had in many years! Cheers Duncan

Just stayed at The Braemar for four nights. This was my third year staying in Southport and The Braemar is simply the best guest house. Starting from the warm welcome from Jackie, the most comfortable room with a great bed that gave a good nights sleep and in the mornings a well cooked 'hot' full english breakfast served by Jackie's... We stayed here with a church group in January 2013 and it was the most lovely guest house I have ever stayed in. The welcome is warm and Jackie made sure all our needs were catered for, the food was very good. Our room was beautiful, the bed comfortable and it was very spacious with lots of storage space.
