And yes, it is a B&B, certainly not a hotel. Don't believe those soft-focus website photos. How are they allowed to do that? What really grated with this place was discovering after having paid the 'deposit' (quite a high percentage of the end price, online with a discount website) that we could have stayed at the beautiful Prince of Wales... more

Arrived at the hotel and thought - well this looks nothing like what is on the website. Manager gave us a choice of two rooms - the first was dirty and cramped and i was left wondering what on earth happended to the deluxe room promised! The second room was slightly larger so we opted for that one, but still... more

I recently stayed in this hotel. The website paints a picture of a luxurious and comfortable 4 star hotel but this is sadly a complete misdescription! One can only assume the 4 stars were granted by the owner and not by any independent or reputable agency. 2star (and priced accordingly) would be a more accurate representation. Our twin room was... more

Room was cramped with everything squashed in- sewing kits, shoe shiner, nail care kits, but nothing that you actually need. polysterine ceiling tiles, with a chandelier. four poster bed which made the room seem really small. dirty bath. sink that leeked onto the bathroom floor. a kitchen in a cuboard - whats that all about - surly its a fire... more

This hotel is really not even a hotel. By the managres own admission it's guest accomodation which we found very difficult to understand as the website tells a different story. Full of promise but fails to deliver on any level. We booked a delux bedroom for two nights to celebrate my partners birthday after reading the website and agreeing that... more

We have just returned from a two night stay at this hotel, This was a returning trip as we had stayed there a year previous. We stayed in the four poster bed/Jacuzzi bath, room 8 and I found this room to be very relaxing, very clean, good lighting which features twinkling blue lights in the bathroom ceiling, Tv/Dvd & a... more
