Had a shock when we arrived, as the hotel reception was very untidy not what we expected. Given a key with directions to our room and no further information. The double room was small and crowded and the en-suite was like a cupboard 3'x4'. A notice said that as a listed building structural alterations were restricted but to have a... More

Stayed here for one night on the bank holiday weekend this May bank holiday and have stayed here before. It was a comfortable, clean, quiet room and described as being a deluxe room. The room itself was small and the bathroom tiny and as I said it was advertised as deluxe! However it was adequate for our purposes. The one... More

Stayed here for one night on the bank holiday weekend. Was looking for a comfortable, clean, quiet room however basic however this is not provided. The room itself was small and the bathroom tiny. The smell of wet dog/ dirty hoover was belly churning, but not to be put off I sprayed the room with deodorant and it all looked... More

We recently stayed here. It's right on the promenade front with tight parking for about 10 cars. We paid quite a lot to stay and the room was very average but clean. Lights didnt work in bathroom and loo was positioned so you could hardly sit on it! Good shower and bizarre kitchen in what looked like a wardrobe. Were... More

I booked a room for an overnight stay as a friend was getting married nearby. I was quoted £35 on the telephone but when I arrived I was charged £69 at check in which was not expected. I was shown to room 4 and oh my god, it was horrendous, I am in no way a snob but this was... More

We booked two rooms via booking.com for a one night stay. However, after reading reviews on trip advisor we searched the 'hotel' website for details of the cancellation policy. Finding no such detail, I sent an email & made numerous calls; to which there was no reply. According to booking.com the cost of one room would be lost if we... More
