I am sorry to say that this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, both horrible and overpriced. I could go on at length about how poor this hotel is but it actually upsets me to talk about how cheated I feel having paid quite a lot of money to take my family for a weekend break. If... More

This hotel is ok for the odd night because of its low cost. The food is prepared in the microwave and is eastern in an area for the lesure centre, sitting on plastic chairs and tables. The rooms were clean but in need of an update. the staff were helpfull.

I've stayed at around 20 different Best Westerns now, and I think I've finally learnt my lesson. The Best Western name guarantees absolutely nothing, other than a big chunk of royalty payments for the franchise, and nice headed notepaper for the property. Some BWs are great, some average, some poor. The Stutelea is in the 3rd category. Old, tired, worn... More

A family run hotel that for us has always been comfortable and friendly. They have a small fitness suite downstairs with a gym and also a small swimming pool but a nice jacuzzi pool. Sauna and steam room as well. Nice for a relaxing morning. Rooms are comfortable and some have been recently modernised to a very good standard. Breakfasts... More

After reading some earlier reviews we were a little reluctant to stay, but we got a good deal on a family 'suite' so decided to give it a try. It is within easy walking of Lord St. and the Promenade so well positioned. The rooms were clean and well presented. The only quible was the dated decoration in the upstairs... More

We have now stayed twice in this hotel. The staff on each occasion have been most helpful and contribute to the friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The rooms have been clean and well prepared. Although the hotel is not new and there are a few creaky floorboards, everything was in good order. Breakfasts have been delicious and were served with a... More

Well, this is meant to be a 3 Star Best Western. I cannot deny that we bought our two-night Family Room stay quite cheaply, via a special deal. But perhaps the most telling fact is that instead of staying for the second night, we decided it was better to go home, thereby wasting £75, rather than put up with such... More

The hotel smelt musty and then we noticed damp patches on the walls and ceiling by our room. The room was in dire need of TLC with faded pictures on the wall and a filthy balcony outside. When it came to going to bed, the room had two outside lights shining in that illuminated the hotel. It never got dark... More

We stayed at the Stutelea for three nights. This was our second choice hotel but having read the reviews we changed our minds, so made right decision. The room was clean and a generous size with easy chairs and the bed was comfortable. Perhaps it was a little dated. The shower was adequate. Service was mixed some staff were very... More

We chose this hotel as it was rated number 2 on Trip Advisor at the time of booking. We had a lovely weekend there, the staff were extremely helpful and friendy, the room was generous in size and the food was fantastic. The only slight part that let the hotel down was that the room could have been a bit... More
