Enjoyed a 3-night break at this hotel for a family holiday. I will break my review into positives and negatives. Positives- Ideal location. Great food. Lovely views. Dining room staff were lovely. Negatives- the room we stayed in was very outdated, sloping floor, no power in the shower and luke warm. Staff hit'n miss- some quite rude. Poor entertainment. The... More

My husband and I have stayed at The Imperial Hotel 3 times over the last 3 years in one particular room . The room itself has an amazzzing sea view , lovely, comfortable bed and great en- suite. The breakfast is average. I want to book one night soon, but am disappointed to see that a two night weekend applies.

We returned yesterday from a three night stay at The Imperial in Tenby. I cannot fault our Premier room which offered a magnificent views of the coast. It was incredibly spacious and a generous supply of beverages and toileteries were appreciated. However, you must negioate a rabbits warren of stairs and doors it seem to reach any room. We are... After reading some of the reviews of the Imperial Hotel Tenby, I was apprehensive to say the least, but on arrival to departure I could not find fault with this Hotel. The views were spectacular, the food was delicious, our room was comfortable, and clean, and the staff hard working and efficient. Plus the added extra of trips to the surrounding... More

Thank you for posting a review of your stay last week. I am sorry you were unhappy with the bathroom in your first room. The reason for the problem with the ceiling was a leak from the roof above caused by the rain and high winds on the Sunday and Monday. I am pleased we were able to move you... More

We have just stayed at the Imperial on a self drive five day break and I can only say it has been fantastic...despite the terrible weather!!! We were fortunate to have great rooms, we had paid a little extra for sea views which was definitely a good move as we had a fabulous balcony patio where we could sit and... More

Everything was awful from the filthy sea view room with torn curtains and stained carpet to room not being cleaned and the over supplemented meals

I am sorry to read that you were so disappointed with your stay. We only have one starter King Prawns and one main Rib Eye Steak on the menu which carry supplements to reflect the increased cost of these dishes. Your review is particularly disappointing as we have just had three excellent reviews. Kind Regards Stephen Squires Relief General Manager More

I stayed at the Imperial Hotel on a Shearings self drive holiday from Monday 9 to Friday 13 April, I found it a very good holiday, when I arrived on the Monday I had to pay £20 for the week in the rectory fields car park up the road from the hotel as the hotel car park is way too... More

Thank you for taking the time to post a detailed review of your stay and for giving us a rating of 4. I am glad you enjoyed the spectacular views from your sea facing room, it is possible to book a double bedded room but upon checking your booking you had indeed booked a single. This is my 3rd stay at The Imperial Hotel, my only complaint was that we arrived before booking in time which is 3PM, had to hang around, leaving our cases in the foyer. At 3pm, there was a stampede to book in, which was a little frustrating. Our room was superb, although a little tired looking. Sea view amazing. Breakfast... More

Thank you for your excellent review of the hotel. The housekeeper does update us with rooms ready for check in from 1pm but unfortunately some rooms are not ready until 3pm and it seems you were unlucky to have one of the last rooms to be ready. I look forward to passing on your kind comments about the helpful and... More

Just returned from our fourth visit to the Imperial Hotel Tenby in 2012. We always get a very warm welcome from the staff, and are looked after very well. The hotel is in a superb location with the restreraunt built into the cliff overlooking the sea. Off again in a few weeks.

Thank you for posting such a kind review of the hotel. You clearly enjoy staying with us as do many other guests who unfortunately do not make the effort to post a positive review. I look forward to welcoming you back in a few weeks time. Kind Regards Stephen Squires Relief General Manager More
