Just back from Tenby with the family. I paid more for the seaview room and it was fanastic. The view was breathtaking over the sea. Rest of the hotel has had a refit and smelt a bit of paint. Only negative - the patio furniture could do with replacing - looked a be tired. Food good - kids loved the... more

Refurbish it repair the roof, clear out the staff who were useless, and tell shearings to sell it, l would never go to a hotel owned by shearings again. I did write and complain but even the hire up had't got the manners to reply. Also find someone who can produce an edible food.. my husband and l regularly stayed... more

We had a wonderfully relaxing time. The waitresses/waiters were extremely curteous. The manageress seemed to affect their friendliness as they were quieter when she appeared. The room had fab views and was spacious. The food was served promptly and fairly varied. The puddings need a brush up(leave out squirty cream on everything) and the dinners were highly salted(not good for old folk),other wise OK.... more

We've stayed at the Imperial before and thought refurbishment a bit overdue. Refurbishment is now underway and the ground floor lounges and dining area are excellent. Tasteful decor and very relaxing. We had a refurbished bedroom with a sea view and were pleased with this, apart from the small bath. I'm only 5.7", but couldn't stretch my legs out in... more

The last reviewer was right, dirt and dust on many corridors, we were on the 4th and itr had been done. Cables lying everywhere with fire exit signs on the floor. Many areas carrying "wet paint" signs. If you are going anytrime in the near future ask if the alterations are entirely completed and don't go if they are not.... more

It has been thirty years since my wife and I last stayed at the Imperial, having read the reasonably positive reviews on this site we decided to return and booked a three day break. On arrival the narrow access entrance and small car park was blocked by a variety of maintence vehicles all belonging to men working in the hotel.... more

As stated in last review we returned to the Imperial Hotel again last week on a bonus break. nice bottle of sparkling wine, basket of fresh fruit and a small box of chocolates in the room (Nice Touch). As the Manager stated last time we were there the refurbishment started last week and although there is a little bit of... more

When we arrived in Tenby which could not have been more delighted with the location of our hotel. To be any closer to the sea we would have to have been in a boat. The hotel sits on the cliff face giving you specatular views and meaning you are in walking distance to all the town's attractions. The exterior of... more

Having read the reviews on line we went to the hotel with mixed feelings but needed a short break and thought we would give it a try. i arrived at the hotel about 1pm to be greeted by the hotel receptionist (lovely young girl with a greek name which i forgot) and was advised that check in was at 3pm.... more
