The Myrtle House. St.Mary Street Tenby If you want a nice relaxing comfortable place to stay in Tenby, then this is the place to be. My wife and I, along with friends, have stay here several times, and at various times of the year, we would not even look for another Guest House, or Hotel. Rob and Jan run the... more

Just got back after spending a couple of nights at the Myrtle House Hotel in Tenby, had a brilliant time !! Jan & Rob were perfect hosts, the hotel was in a prime location within the town walls 'Not out in the Country as Rob liked to describe everything outside the walls.....' & the garage facilities just a short walk... more

NOT the best time of year to visit so delightful a British Holiday resort, but the charm of the place and the Welsh welcome we got from Jan, and her family, more than made up for it, and we cannot wait to go again. Next time will be when the boats to Caldy are running . The Myrtle was a... more

We booked at very short notice. Nothing was too much trouble,it was so friendly you felt as if you had known Jan for years and we will be making a return visit there. The whole place was very clean and comfortable and the food was great. We are telling our friends to make a visit to Myrtle House Hotel. more

My wife and I stayed at the Myrtle House hotel in November, with our 4-month old baby. What a welcome we had! Jan, the owner, could not have been more helpful if she'd tried. We stayed in one of the front rooms, so we could just about see the sea, through the bay window. The room was very clean, the bed... more

This hotel is clean and friendly - for us the first two essential requirements for anywhere we stay. Combined with an excellent position then it is well worth the 3 stars. However, it is like a lot of English hotels in that it is caught in a time warp. The cooked breakfast is excellent but after a couple of days... more

My family, friends and I stayed at Myrtle House to celebrate my 30th birthday and it was absolutely superb. They were the most pleasant hosts I have ever met and nothing was too much for them. I am unable to have wheat, gluten or dairy products, and they managed this exceptionally well and went out of their way to make... more

Me my partner and my 2 year old daughter booked a room for two nights for my birthday, the room we had was number 3, this room had a sea view from the bathroom window. I booked with slight short notice so we had the double room, but even though we thought it might be small for the three of... more

This is a typical B&B and for the price, great value. I asked about the room size and was told by Jan that they were not large but typical of an English B&B - I therefore paid slightly more for single accommodation in a double room. I found this perfectly adequate for my needs, a stay of 6 days. The... more

Recently stayed at the Myrtle House Hotel and can't understand why this property is rated no. 1 in Tenby. In all fairness, it is the only accomodation we've stayed at, but I can't imagine ALL other hotels being inferior. The location is central and the hosts were great - very welcoming and helpful, BUT the title 'hotel' is suspect to... more
