St Agatha's is in a great position on the Esplanade over looking the South Beach of Tenby.
My girlfriend and I stayed here last night (July 23rd 06) for one night for a bit of a break from city life. The hotel is very tastefuly painted outside in striking custard yellow which perfectly matched the pastel coloured hotels along that stretch of coast, inside the hotel is very clean and comfortable.
We had room 5 which had the moist amazing view of the beach and the sea, it was a real joy to wake up to. However parts of the room were a little tired, woodchip wallpaper although it was white washed so it didn't cause any offence, and a toffee brown bathroom suite!
Now this was a let down, the bathroom suite was so old (1970's?) that it was almost fashionable again. Furthermore the bathroom was carpeted - as was the side of the bath??? - very grim.
The shower was a mixer tap and even when using the shower water still came out of the taps. Looking at the website other... more
