This was our first visit to Tenby and we are so glad we chose this hotel as it was perfectly located and run by a wonderful team. We only booked it a couple of weeks before as we felt we needed a break from the hustle and bustle and as the hotel is opposite a beautiful sandy beach we felt... More

Our second visit to this hotel this year. We enjoy coming back each visit with my elderly disabled father as we always receive a friendly welcome and every effort is made to accommodate his needs, even to allowing him to recharge his mobility scooter in his room. Without this means of transport, my father would not enjoy his stay. Over... More

We are just back from a couple of nights at The Esplanade. A short walk from the station and we arrived to a friendly welcome. Shown to our room, we were pleased to have a partial sea view when we weren't expecting one. The room although small was adequate. Very clean, bathroom and shower fine with nice fluffy white towels.... More

Hotel has no car park no lift and no wifi which is made worse as there is no 3G signal either!! Room we stayed in had a carpeted bedside cabinet from around 1975 ,carpet although axeminster needs scrapping as it's depressing and outdated, furniture is scratched and scruffy, bathroom is small and awkward too. Dining room is very dark full... More

The reviewer, by her own admission, booked accommodation online for five nights, without checking it’s suitability for her sons severe learning difficulties and special needs. The main problem were the stairs as the room was on the second floor. From the very start he complained very loudly all the way up to the room, and particularly on the way back... More

The room was tidy and comfortable. We stayed in the family suite on the top-floor walk up. The views were great; the staff were very friendly, and the price included an ample breakfast. The location truly cannot be beaten--just steps from the harbour and incredible beaches. All in all, this is an excellent value.

We have stayed here twice and shall undoubtedly do so again. The view across the beach to Caldey Island, the Gower and, on a clear day, North Devon coast in the distance, is superb. The breakfast was excellent and it was handy having tea room and bar facilities later in the day. The helpful hint to use the multi-storey car... More

We stayed here for 1 night having been camping for the previous 2 so were really looking forward to a comfy bed and hot shower. The bed was fine, although it was a very snug double! The shower had bad pressure but not awful. I've got to say the décor doesn't look as though it's been updated for a good... More
