We were looking for somewhere luxurious, for a birthday treat, but where we could take the dog. We were given a courtyard room, which was perfect as we had our own front door and could easily access the garden. Dinner was lovely and there was a beautiful lounge with magazines and a roaring fire where we were welcomed to take... More

We got married at Manorbier Castle on 4th July. The hotel was very welcoming and the service was excellent. The place looks great and the room was beautiful with a fabulous view. Melanie and Lucas were great hosts and the food was delicious. Definitely will return.

A beautiful place in a great location. Had a great reception from the owners when we popped in for a drink. Sat outside on the terracing with a great view over the bay. Will be back soon to sample the menu which looked very enticing.

This is a wonderful place for a quiet getaway from busy Tenby's seaside town within walking distance of the sea and golf. Food is exquisite and service is good. They have a large wine list and an excellent dinner menu. I would give them a 5 star if not for the wifi which was problematic and my roaming was bad.... More

Visited Penally Abbey last night with my girlfriend. Got a little lost on the way here thanks to a sat nav on its last legs but were helped in the right direction by the owner. Stayed in room number three, very comfortable, spacious and clean! We are downstairs in the restaurant and were greeted by the friendly attentive waitress'! It... More

As many reviewers have said, the hotel is a lovely building with excellent and tasteful public rooms, and spacious bedrooms. The staff are excellent too, especially Kimberley who served us for the evening meals. The reason for the "nearly" remark in the title is that the breakfast could be better. The cooked main courses are excellent, but the fruit salad... More

Ours was a contemporary room in this hotel, which is a very old building which has been restored. All public rooms are clean, smart & comfortable. Our room was reached by a steel outside staircase (with a dodgy bit at the top, where you have to mind your head), this was OK for us but not for anyone with walking... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights over a busy bank holiday weekend. I love hotels like this; friendly-but-not-fawning owners, 99.9%* immaculate housekeeping and robust cooking without too much fuss on the plate. Our room (5) was large with a view over a lovely garden, a golf course and the sea. In fact it's one of the nicest rooms I've... More

We stayed for one night recently at this charming hotel with loads of atmosphere. Our room was accessed from the balcony at the back of the main building with a view over their pretty gardens. It was stylishly decorated and spacious but we must admit to being a little disappointed with various 'basic' requirements......a strange access and locking device to... More
