Stayed at this B&B twice, rooms are lovely and clean although do need updating. Breakfast is lovely. only a 2 minute walk from town centre and parking is limited outside although there is a massive carpark around the corner. Staff are lovely and friendly and a key is given to you so you can let yourself in at any time... More

As a last minute booking, myself and partner stayed for just the 1 night. The room was ok, nothing special, but when we got there the only window in the room (a velux window) was left open. It was freezing in there at this point, early November, and with it looking like rain, we decided rather quickly to shut it.... More

Me and my partner spent 2 nights at Glenholme in room 1. Although a family room we used it as a double. It was spacious for two people but it would be very crampt if 3 were in there. The room is ensuite with a shower room which is very tiny but practicle. We were a little dissappointed that the... More

This guesthouse has a very good location. The staff are very friendly. The owner is very friendly and make our stay comfortable enough The negative points of this guesthouse are the cleanliness. When we just checked in, we were very impressed with decoration in the room. It is neat and tidy compared with other guesthouse. However, we completely lost our... More

We have stayed here twice previously many years ago. Unfortunately nothing seems to have changed since then, even the bedding! Shower had black mould all over it. Breakfast was not the best. On the plus side fab location for the price you pay. However, I don't think we will be going back there a fourth time!

Outdated small rooms, tatty décor. Dirty bathrooms, towels not changed unless requested, missing light bulbs. Breakfast very poor and anything cooked needed to be ordered 24 hours in advance!! Not a very welcoming establishment, will not be returning.

Stayed for a weekend and must say really liked the B&B. It was clean, well kept and the owners and staff were absolutely lovely! Would definitely recommend to others, great value for money and location was ideal!

This is a nice looking place until you go into your room. I needed another pillow so i took the 1 that was in a plastic bag on top of the wardrobe(this was a spare) OMG it stank, on further inspection I found it had another pillow case on it so i took it off, then another and another and... More

Friendly reception, clean room with tiny bathroom, no views from the room, good breakfast. That more or less sums it up. Nothing wrong with the guesthouse -maybe a bit old- but nothing special either. The location is excellent for city and beaches. Parking is only in front of the hostel if you're lucky, otherwise there's a parking lot around the... More

We stayed in a double en-suite room on the 3rd floor and it did not bear any resemblance to this or the owner's site photos. The initial reaction was what an aweful smell and how dated is the decor. On further inspection the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The bathromm was more like a cupboard and you had... More
