I booked Elm Grove after reading the positive posts on this site and was not disapointed. It is a lovely old house set in beautiful grounds with attentive and friendly staff. It has all the charm of an older property but is very clean and nicely decorated. We stayed there for three nights with our six month old daughter and... more

First impressions count and this hotel gets off to a great start - wooded drive, stunning building, beautiful gardens, croquet lawn, grass tennis court (which they mowed and painted for us!!) and hammock in just the right spot to catch the sun - we could easily have spent the weekend on site, rather than travelling off. The owners were friendly... more

I've stayed at Elm Grove several times now and it just gets better and better! The hotel has been family run for many years and it shows. Jane and Alan are warm and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Not a bit like many of those country house hotels that have been taken over by large, impersonal companies and... more

Elm Grove is a beautiful house with so much character. Driving up the long driveway surrounded by flowers and getting our first view of the house started to melt all the work stress away. The location is very peaceful yet you are so close to all the attractions of Pembrokeshire. Alan & Jane, the owners are very welcoming and are... more

What a find! Upon arrival we were greeted by a gentleman who was obviously busy mowing the lawns, who greeted us and showed us to our room, then he went and made us a pot of coffee, which he served on a table on the patio; then it was back to his gardening. This set the tone for the visit,... more

On holiday for the 1st time with our 9month old son, it was the break we needed. Despite the rain on the second day, we had such a relaxing break – great food, games, beer selection, knowledge of the surrounding area and points of interest, plus all the help you need with a baby to enjoy the stay! Home from... more

My husband and I recently stayed at Elm Grove for our Honeymoon and were bowled over with the reception service and hospitality shown to us by the owners and staff! We were treated like visiting royalty, the food is simply exquisite, the rooms are beautiful and the staff amazing - every day our room and ensuite were cleaned and tidied... more

The owners were very warm and helpful - the location was perfect, the building very attractive. The communal areas were welcoming, and the breakfast was very good. However, our room was cramped and tired (although clean), and the shower room very disappointing. We had no desire to spend any time in our room and were lucky that the sun shone... more

Stayed here on numerous occaisions, and every time has been first rate. Friendly, clean, food first class. Beautiful location within easy reach of a peaceful village with local pub which is also very friendly. Also within easy reach of the lovely Pembrokeshire coast and also Tenby itself. Ideal for families as well as couples. Good facilities. Proprietors, Jane & Alan... more
