A last minute booking, that was a real treat. Mr & Mrs Butler were very friendly and made us feel welcomed. Their spacious home was ideally laid out to provided a comfortable environment for a B&B. Spotlessly clean, plenty of hot water, luxurious towels and a fresh bed enabled us to enjoy a relaxing evening. The quiet setting and comfortable... More

We stayed at Hillgarth House for two nights last week and were most impressed with the cheerful, friendly reception we had from Roley and Pauline. Our twin room was comfortable and clean with a good view. The breakfast each morning was really wonderful, plentiful and beautifully cooked! We are happy to recommend this B&B to anybody holidaying in the area.

We and our two friends spent the week end at Hillgarth. We drove up their drive and straight away l thought of all the waste in fuel, why can't this place be on a main road ?. Then we met our hosts,Roley and Pauline, we were on to them immediately, treating us like old friends, how very dare they !... More

My wife and i stayed for a long weekend mixing business with pleasure. We were made to feel very much at home; nothing was too much trouble. We had the small but very comfortable twin room at the back. The bathroom arrangements were fine - not specifically en suite but with the curtain screening off that end of the landing... More

We stayed here whilst attending a wedding at the Manorbier castle also. The location and setting is perfect. A 15 minute walk to the village with shop, castle, pub, hotel and a beautiful bay. We had the waterbed suite, the bed was interesting.... never having slept in one before but was very comfortable and cosy, The views from the room... More

We stayed at Hillgarth for three nights in June 2012. The house is full of character and spotless throughout. We felt more like friends of Roly and Pauline than merely two more guests. Roly is "head chef" and the "full Welsh" breakfast is quite superb. Our room had splendid views of the countryside and mine hosts were full of ideas... More

My family and I stayed at Hillgarth as my brother got married in Manorbier in June this year. It was a real pleasure staying with Pauline and Roley; they looked after us extremely well. My pregnant wife and I had the water bed suit which was great fun; with some lovely views of the Welsh countryside. The night before the... More

Beautiful B&B.so warm and comfortable.Pauline and Roley were more like friends than proprietors, nothing was to much trouble. The waterbed suite had the most stunning views ,especially the bay window looking over Manobier Bay. The suite was beautifully decorated, and the waterbed a real treat.
