We stayed here with a group of walkers doing the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. We were forewarned that it is a pub with rooms. The staff was very helpful in meeting our van outside the walls, since there was no vehicle access into the town mid-afternoon. We had dinner here one night and decided that there were better places to eat... More

No longer a place to recommend to others. Called in with friends for meal and a drink. Beer tasted off. The staff unfriendly and more interested in chatting than serving guests. Food ok ish. They were not that busy had to wait ages for meals. Has it changed hands. Dont know. Wont go again.

Ok, so its bank holiday weekend and it was the only room we could get, we were open minded as we go to tenby alot and knew it was based in the heart of the town so knew it would be loud in the evening which wasnt the problem it was early hours of the morning having the beer barrels... More

I read the previous reviews which I think were slightly unfair. You see many establishments like this operated as a hotel during the Victorian/Edwardian era. However they are very much pubs now. We knew this place from previous visits and you have to accept that it's a pub with rooms. Once you understand this then you will accept why there... More

We didn't stay here. How glad am I. But we did have an evening meal there. Being in a seaside town , we thought fish & chips would be nice. While we waited, we were "entertained" by loud rap or techno music which pounded through the place and I had just about had it when the sound system started playing... More

I've been to 70 countries and I can safely say that this was one of the worst hotels I have ever had the misfortune to stay in, the rooms are very poor, the place is filthy, the breakfast was the worst I have ever had and the noise and the music from the Pub downstairs, plus the noise from outside... Good points - right in the centre of Tenby, room just about OK. Bad points (lots) - Started with having to double-park on yellow lines outside hotel to drop off luggage and then having to queue for 10 minutes whilst staff served people buying drinks before dealing with usl There is no dedicated reception area! Didn't appear to be many... More

Upon arrival I found the staff very helpful and the room nicely decorated and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was to a good standard and the hotels location was ideal. There was one problem however, the noise. On the first night they had a DJ in the pub below that played until 1am. I went down on 3 occasions to... More

Oh dear, what a filth dirty place to stay.Welcome to Tenby! The courtyard at the back although it had some nice hanging baskets ,was strewn with broken glass and nub ends, there were kids roaming about on the floor. This was mid week in the middle of the day...24hrs later still nothing had been cleaned. The stairway up to our room was absolutely disgusting,really...
