Our second stay this weekend. Welcome just as friendly as before and we had the same room (we asked for it). Same value for money, breakfast was as good as before.
We have no real complaints so why review again??
Well, we do feel that the decor/fixtures and fittings could do with being refreshed. The room was looking a bit tired and old fashioned, despite being comfortable. We had looked at other BnB's in the same price bracket and their websites do seem to indicate a more modern look. 5 months after our intial stay, we found the cleanliness of the room this time, with regards to a couple of issues, a bit slack. The shower curtain was very mildewed, with bits of it flaking off into the bath and was obviously the same one from last year. There was a stain on the bedroom curtain; and again that was there 5 months ago. The plastic cups left in the bathroom were not 'fresh' and the glass mugs had obviously just been rinsed as opposed to being provided fresh. So a little... more
