Regular visitors to Tenby, we booked a long weekend in June 2007 opting to stay at The Farnham Hotel. Our decision was based on both its location and its cost, as we were scheduled to fly out to Spain shortly afterwards for our fortnights break. On arrival there was no-one to greet us; but we could 'sign in' and having done so headed up to our room. The key had been left out for us as we'd given an ETA to the owner over the phone. We booked a sea view double ( the one pictured on the website) and found both a double and single bed. Obviously, more a family room than straight forward double, but ended up benefitting us!
Our main 'problem' with the room was what we thought were built in wardrobes....on opening the 2 doors we actually found the shower and toilet. There wasn't a problem with the cleanliness of either; however, the space in both was extremely limited and rather claustraphobic. My husband couldn't shut the toilet door as his knees were right up against it!! Not ideal... more
