We stayed for one night at the Ashby for my husband and I to enjoy a meal at Plantagenet House. We checked in and were shown our room on the 2nd floor which had lovely views over the south beach. The room had a double and a single bed and was ensuite with a shower. It was very clean and... More

We stayed here at the start of this week, it had the best reviews out of all the b&bs with vacancies left in this street which is how we came to choose it. This b&b along with most of the others (if not all) has no parking and so you have to park in a carpark but it is literally... More

Looking for somewhere to stay we chose this place on the strength of the reviews whilst wandering around the various B&Bs in the area (the ageism rant by the previous poster wasn't on the site at the time) The good bits: well located for the beach & the walled town, very clean & nicely turned out room, with fabulous view... Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us with the exception of the noise from some of the other guests. We take the comfort of all our guests seriously, so we make a point of asking those coming in late or going out early to respect that others will be asleep, but unfortunately... More

We found this B&B accidentally and we were very happy we stayed there. Our room wasn't anything fancy but it was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Overall it is a lovely, clean place where you get what you pay for.

If your looking for clean, friendly comfort at a very reasonable rate ,then you won't go wrong at a stay at Ashby House. The breakfast in the morning was of a high standard with excellent service. The room was spotless and had good facilities including hairdrier and tea/coffee making. With only a short walk to the sea front and the... More

We decided last minute to stay overnight in Tenby and found this little B&B just off the main front, past all the bigger hotels. There was a warm welcome and we were given a great room with a sea view. Decor was a bit dated but the location is good and overall we had a very positive experience.

We arrived late afternoon looking for a room and were happy to be shown to the top floor (room 7) with a lovely view of the beach. Room itself was very comfortable with TV,coffee and tea facilities and a hair dryer. Such a great location with only a few minutes walk to the beach and the restaurants and pubs of... More

We arrived at Ashby House by chance as hadn't booked anywhere. The landlady was very accomodating and explained the deals she had on certain rooms. The room itself, number 7, was on the top floor, and the hard work of climbing the stairs was well rewarded with an excellent view over Tenby beach. You do have to stand up to... More

This was the one night in our 8 week trip that we hadn't pre booked or researched. Arrived in Tenby late afternoon and started door knocking on B&Bs. The sea front hotels were loading up with coachloads of pensioners, so we went down a few side streets - and, after looking at a couple of horror places, we luckily found... More

A mark of a good owner is consistent standards. Ashby House has consistent high standards and remains excellent budget value. The only thing I'd improve is to swap the catering sausage for a real one at breakfast. Even so, great location, comfy beds, decent TVs, good clean rooms, good breakfast. I'll be happy to stay here again.
