A real hidden gem. A lovely site with a warm welcome and great facilities. The area has much to do for all ages with the extra bonus of perfect weather during our stay. If the "outdoor" life is not for you there are wooden lodges for hire. We had a great week and will certainly be back.

Spent 2 nights camping here as a base for Woolacombe. We booked online and were directed to the overflow field where no electric hook ups are available. However on arrival found we'd been allocated a pitch in an area where it was installed. Had we known that in advance we'd have bought the hook up along. Worth checking before packing... More

Just returned from a long weekend at Hidden Valley campsite in Ilfracombe. After reading the reviews regarding the general site condition and other people’s negative remarks I thought I would give my opinion. Last minute booking from Thursday to Sunday with my wife, 2 kids, dog and boat. Arrived around 4pm and checked in with no problems at all and... More

We have just returned from a week away at Hidden Valley. I felt that the welcome was warm and friendly and the site itself was clean and really well kept. My kids made some lovely friends and very much enjoyed the park and equipment. Everything felt safe and the woods were great fun. We'd spend the day out and no... More

We are lucky enough to have our caravan on a seasonal pitch at Hidden Valley and have done so for just over 2 years! We have just spent the month there and my 8 year old has had a lovely time playing with the friends he has made at the site out in the gorgeous sunshine and fresh air. It's... More

We were looking for a site to store our caravan close to the beach because after 15 years of caravanning we found that being by the beach was priority number one and towing ,unpacking and packing the caravan was becoming a real chore.we have stayed in caravan club and other sites across Devon Cornwall and Pembrokeshire and find this site... When we checked the reception staff were lovely, we were given a map of the site and suggested nice places to eat. A little shop is available and they do breakfast and cream teas! We booked a large pitch for our tent and were very happy with the size, it fit our tent and car perfect. We had a shared... More

We came here for a two week stay at the start of august. We had a good impression on entering the site with very nice gardens. Our hard standing pitch was very good no one behind us or in front just trees, the site felt a lot smaller than it was which is nice. There is a small shop ,good clean toilet block... We have a VW camper and booked late availability, First night was spent in the basic camping Buttercup meadow in the bus, then we had a large serviced pitch from Tuesday through Saturday, we were worried about the size of our tent being too big, but it fitted the pitch with no problems at all, still lots of space, even...
