Delicious fresh bread and a superb breakfast selection - could have spent hours drinking great coffee and enjoying the lovely sea view. Very cosy, comfortable room, and my husband really appreciated the fresh milk for his tea. Will definitely return. More

We have no record of this particular visit if indeed it happened. The review appears to criticise everything which most other guests praise us for. More

What a brilliant B&B, run by a really lovely couple, we would definitely stay here again. The bedroom was very clean and tastefully decorated, the bed was huge and so comfy, the extra touches like fresh milk delivered to the room and fresh flowers made it feel really special. The fresh fruit salad and home baked bread at breakfast made... More

Diana and Ron gave us a wonderful welcome, we truly felt at home and at ease as soon as we walked through the door. As others have mentioned, we had fresh milk for our tea/coffee and the standard of the rooms was excellent. The ensuite was on the small side but not a problem for us. The decor was modern... More

Not for those with dodgy hearts as there is a steep road leading to a three storey house but the comfort of our room, the provision of fresh milk for tea in the room, and the superb breakfast with fresh fruit salad, freshly baked bread on top of the usual "full English" make this one of the best B &... My partner and I have just got back from a two night stay at the Montpelier Guest House. On arrival Ron and Diana were very welcoming and friendly. Our room was nicely decorated with a big comfy bed and smart en suite. Breakfast was excellent, there was plenty of choice from full english, to fresh fruit salad or cereals. Being... More

I stayed four nights here recently and there is very little that I can add to the glowing reviews expressed previously. It is quite simply a superb place to stay and I have no hesitation in giving it full marks in every respect. Car drivers might care to note that the property is the last one in Montpelier Terrace with... More
