My son and I arrived late after a hold up getting to Grattons, although the lane is narrow and very steep our lodge was all prepared with fire on and an extra Futon after realising I'd booked the smallest lodge by mistake the owners were only too pleased to provide for us. The duvets and pillows seemed New and my... More

We had a lovely stay in Woodpeckers. The lodges are small, but everything you need for a short stay. The surroundings are lovely and peaceful and it is brilliant for dogs. The Reception staff/room is really helpful, with lots of information about the local area, games and DVD's in case the weather is bad (it wasn't!) and providing milk, fresh... More

Had two holidays in this picturesque place. Set on a hillside with wonderful views of the village and surrounding countryside Grattons Cedar Lodges is the place to go for a great holiday in beautiful North Devon. Close to Exmoor, Combe Martin and Ilfracombe there are plenty of places to visit including Lynton and Lynmouth. Driving across Exmoor is a wonderful... More

We have just returned from our second stay at Grattons. The scenery and views are simply amazing we were happy to sit outside our lodge and take in the views. The location is quiet and unspoiled there is plenty to do with beaches nearby and walks straight from the lodge. The owners are friendly and helpful, but left us to... More

What a peaceful location. Our lodge was the Pixie lodge, it was very clean. The owners were very friendly and on hand if anything was needed. The only down side for us was the horse's were behind our lodge all the time which attracted a lot of flies. Berrynarbor it self was very beautiful with great little pub "ye old... More
