Spent 3 nights there ...wish we hadn't! Owner was not at all welcoming...we had to ask ourselves should this person be running a hotel? No garden or bin for dogs...food was poor, plumbing noisy, and don't see how this can be a 4-star hotel?? Only 1 of the other 6 rooms was occupied. No wonder ! On the positive side... more

My partner and I stayed here and were extremely disappointed - to the point where we tried to find somewhere else to stay that night. The room was basic but functional however it wasn't very clean and smelled strongly. The rest of the house was worse, with a constant, overpowering smell. I enjoyed my stay at this dog-friendly hotel. The owner was very pleasant and accommodating, and our room was clean and bright. The bed was comfortable, and the en-suite was a good size. We were on the top floor, fine if you are fit, but would recommend a lower floor if you have trouble with stairs! Breakfast was pretty good,... more

I found st. brannocks hotel to be really dog friendly, excellent food, and a warm welcome from the owner, the room was fresh and clean & comfortable, I will certainly visit again. more
