Lovely stay although just for one night. Room was very nice, clean and a good size. Stayed in room 203 - nothing to complain about. Location is good although chose to drive to town due to having2 young children. Food - only had breakfast but this was a nice full English. Evening menu looked good. Bar looked nice but didn't... Generally outside of hotel does look a bit grubby but all buildings in this area look like this due to sea salt in atmosphere /rain and also seagulls don't help! Staff are lovely and really helpful. Rooms are fine and clean (bathroom could have done with a little more cleaning) but generally to a good standard, I would say similar... More

We went to Ilfracombe for a wedding and stayed at the Bath House hotel for 3 nights. The outside looks tired and needs some TLC, however there is scaffolding up at the moment, so they may be doing something, but we didn't ask. A very nice welcome and the staff are great. The bedrooms have had money spent on them... More

We found the Bath House Hotel completely by accident whilst searching for very last min accommodation in ilfracombe. The visit was very sadly to attend a funeral and so I booked the room without even looking at reviews or facilities - I was simply being glad to have found somewhere to stay at this busy time of year. However, when... More

We stayed at the Bath house hotel for 3 nights and had a great time! Before we reached the hotel, just after the booking, I contacted the hotel to inform them of some special requirements we had for our 1 year old Son. These included having a room with a Cot bed and also a bath. We received a lovely... More

Stayed here for 2 nights with two children. We had a warm welcome when we arrived and the room was ok. The breakfast was nice. Overall the hotel needs a lot of attention, the windows in our room were so dirty and the hotel was very tired looking...

Just returned from a short break to Ilfracombe and stayed at the Bath House, from the outside it is off putting the back and the front entrance are tired, which is such a shame with a little TLC it could be improved. Inside it is clean and tidy, but still needs work. After all this do not be put off... More

We stopped here for one night and have never stopped anywhere quite like it before. The room was just a dirty mess including the carpets, windows, stained walls and waste still in the toilet on arrival, not to mention a dirty pair of socks that we found stuffed down the side of one of the beds! The furniture was so... More

Reception is manned from 07.00 in the morning until at least 10.30 at night. Therefore to say there were never any staff around is total nonsense. Therefore, I can only imagine the rest of your review is nonsense too. I refer you to all the other reviews around. We welcome constructive criticism not blatant balderdash. More
