My partner and i stayed here during the summer, on a short break to the area. having found the bath house hotel on booking.com, thought cheap and cheerful, as long as you have a bed to sleep in it doesnt matter. On arrival, we were supprised to see how nicely in the inside of the hotel was decorated, looking at... more

On first impression the frontage could do with an uplift, like fix steps and maybe varnish the doors but we were welcomed warmly by the manager who advised us (greatly) on car parking then showed us to our room. Our 4 poster, jacuzzi bath looked impessive also balcony.Plenty of tea/coffee facilities and flat screen tv was brilliant. The hotel itself... more

I found the Bath House welcoming and friendly and happy to fit in with my requirements. The room was better than I had expected as I had booked a single; a good size and well appointed with very clean and good bathroom. Excellent value for money. Recommended. more

On arriving at this hotel I was appalled by the condition of the front entrance. The walls were falling apart and full of weeds, the steps were dirty and cracked, the windows in the front door were filthy (looked as if they hadn't been cleaned this season.) Still onward and upward I thought, however as I walked in the smell of stale cigarettes... more

I will start by saying I don't write reviews but I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel - we definitely got value for money so was inspired to write one. We travelled with our 2 year old and also two friends. After reading some of the reviews we were a little worried - also the photos on the internet made... more

I booked for 20 of us to stay in 10 double rooms for 2 nights. On arrival Malcolm and his team were so friendly and helpful getting us parked and to our rooms. The rooms were just lush .Newly fitted out and modern and very clean. We all enjoyed a couple of relaxing drinks in the bar and had a... more

We stayed for 4 nights in the middle of September and found the hotel to be excellent value. The hotel was lovely, clean and tidy. Our room was spotless and has obviously recently been redecorated. The room was on-suite with a bath and shower attachment, tiled top to toe and looked lovely. The hotel itself was right opposite the tunnels... more

Stayed for just one night in peak season - August. Ilfracombe itself is great for a UK resort, harbour area lovely although some of the other buildings are looking a little unloved even in mid summer with a couple of empty derelict hotels in the main street. The hotel is centrally located and the staff (we met a manager and... more
