I booked this hotel for a 3 night stay during the summer holidays. There wasn't much left about, so after reading some reviews I decided to book this hotel. The hotel is on an old building, and doesn't really look much from the outside. Inside, it has a spacious reception hall, and the rooms are comfortable enough for the expected... More

Myself and my 10 year old son stayed here for 4 nights first week in September. I was really pleasantly surprised by what a nice hotel and what great staff they have here. The room was a twin, good size, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was really tasty and a great start to each morning. With a sort of beachy,... More

Stayed for 2 nights in a large family room. The location is excellent for both the town and beach. There was ample free car parking when we stayed in October, though it may be different at times. We were checked in by Malcom, who was polite and helpful. He directed to our room on the 2nd floor. The room was... More

Lovely, clean hotel in fantastic location. Friendly staff & nice breakfast! Very accommodating of our one year old & warmly welcomed on arrival. We stayed in room 107 which was a suite with balconies. No sea view from this room but great looking out over the street but far enough back for the noise not to be a problem. Unfortunately... More

We stayed as a wedding party as a group of friends of mixed ages with 3 young children. The rooms were beautiful and travel cot and high chairs were provided. Great location great facilities showers were warm and powerful kitchen facilities were great and communal areas for eating were great. 100 % recommend. Personal touches of wine and biscuits were... Great for the whole North Devon thing, but with the proximity of Ilfracombe town centre to spend the evenings. Friendly reception, clean rooms, tasty breakfast and very handy car parking - only stayed for the one night but more than satisfied. No wi-fi on the top floor but that's a minor quibble

Although the hotel was clean it looked tired and needed some TLC. The manager and staff were very pleasant and helpful. Comfortable bed and nice soft towels although there was lack of space in the bathroom with no room to put toiletries. Tea making facilities but the lead on the kettle was so short we had to place it on... More

Strangely I turned up with a bit of trepidation of staying here despite it being recommended by my dad. Outside it looks tired but the inside is different. The reception / bar area is clean and airy and once in the room we were surprised. We booked the family room for 4 and with a double and two singles the... More

We stayed at the Bath House Hotel for one night prior to catching the boat to Lundy Island for a day trip. The hotel has a car park at the rear which is available for unloading luggage but it only has space for 8 cars and these were full when we arrived (as warned when we booked). Note that the... More
