Fantastic b&b. John and Polly were very accommodating and welcoming, genuine lovely couple. Made me feel at home which was greatly appreciated as i was staying by myself (for a work trip) Rooms are clean, spacious and light. Very relaxing & nice breakfasts too! Thankyou for a great stay :)

We stayed at Rocky Cove for 3 nights recently. The owners John and Polly could not have been more accomodating, they gave us invaluable tips on the local area which enabled us to visit places we would otherwise not have known about! As for the room, everything was lovely and also spotlessly clean. The daily cooked breakfast was delicious and... More

My husband and I visited North Devon for a wedding last weekend and were very impressed with the B&B - Rocky Cove. This was our second trip to this B& B after it was recommended to us previously by a friend who had stayed. We were not disappointed! The friendly owners really made our weekend with a lovely breakfast and... More

Rocky Cove is a favourite of mine going back year after year. It is well priced, a great location with a really lovely couple running the place who could not be more accommodating and friendly. The breakfast is a real treat and the restaurant downstairs is open all day with a great variety of fresh fish and a lovely ambience.... More

I stayed in the top double room with an extra single bed. The room was clean and very spacious with a very large en suite with large bath separate shower etc. All amenities I needed were ready in the room. The owners were very welcoming and made me feel at home straight away. Nothing was too much trouble. The location... More

When booking this B+B i asked for four star rated places to stay...... Who ever gave this b+b that award really should revisit. Upon arrival apart from the stale smell of grease in the room the bed cover was not even put on correctly as there was no poppers left to do it up, it had BLOOD STAINS on the... More

Spent a night here as part of our mini honeymoon en route to Cornwall. Very friendly owners who are happy to help. Comfortable rooms and in a good location. Nice breakfast too. We would return here again as Ilfracombe is a great location to visit if you are in the area

I stayed with my sister and two year old nephew for two nights. Great sized room and bathroom, really nice breakfast and made to feel very welcome. Really enjoyed the short time we had there and would definitely stay again.

Had a fantastic stay in the family room with my husband and 2 young daughters, it was a home from home and John & Polly made us feel very welcome. We will definitely return for another visit. It was right in the heart of Ilfracombe and it was lovely to be close to the shops and harbour

I totally recommend this B and B to anyone. Me and my partner stayed 3 nights in a double room, the room was a great size, clean and well decorated you could not fault it. John and polly were very friendly and welcoming and always offered advice on where to visit and places to eat, taking the time to help... More
