Last night in "The Towers" before we return home. Sitting in room 2 looking out over Ilfracombe and its harbour. Stunning is the only word to describe what you see. Older property but well maintained. Owners very friendly and most helpful. Even bought in yoghurt when requested. Ample breakfast with wide choice and lots of fresh fruit salads. Food quality... I can only reiterate what all the previous reviews have stated. The rooms are clean, spacious with good views of mainly the sea and/or Harbour. The breakfast is cooked to order (which is placed the previous evening) also available at breakfast are cereals, fresh fruit and fruit juice. The coffee if so required is served in a Cafetiere, which I... More

The Hotel is a lovely old building but the rooms have been lovingly brought into the 21st century with brand new bathrooms, tvs and wifi throughout. The beds were comfy, the rooms were well laid out and although we did not have a sea view, we did have a view over the garden with a mini orchard. The hostess was... More

We had the room with the view, room 2. Spacious room and a marvellous bathroom in the tower. It's a very friendly, welcoming guest house offering an excellent breakfast. There is a choice of cooked dishes each morning which you order the night before so that it's freshly cooked for you. When we arrived, end of July, it was very... More

Good views across the harbour. Excellent choice of breakfast to start the day. Very clean and lovely management - knows all the best places to visit. Overlooks the bay so a steady stroll of 15 mins to walk to the harbour. Slightly longer back being a gradual incline. Within a short drive to a marvelous sandy beach at Woolacombe -or... More

We stayed at the Towers on the night prior to starting the Devon coast to coast. The hotel is lovely and spacious the hosts locked our bikes away in their private hallway so nice and safe. Really helpful on local dining which turned out to be perfect. We even had a few cold beers back in the hotel bar. Super... More
