Superb quality of the best of all will be back again and again as it is a fantastic break and the owners are very obliging and helpful in all ways possible. Very central to loads of great places to visit and a steam train close to the place as well

Stayed here after a wedding in the area, The hosts couldnt have been more welcoming, the room was clean, spacious and had a very comfortable bed! Didnt realise at the time of booking it wasnt an en-suite, but hubby booked in a rush and didnt check. Didnt really matter as the bathroom etc was just across the hall, but do... More

Had a lovely stay at this hotel, stayed for one night before going to Lundy Island. Very friendly owners, lovely couple. The hotel felt very warm and friendly, they served a good breakfast with a big verity. Nice Victorian rooms, some of the rooms have a view onto the high street. Great Stay. Lovely breakfast and very welcoming. Room was clean. Hair dryer and Tea making facilities came in handy. But mostly very welcoming to our 11 month old daughter, cot and high chair provided. Would stay again. - Steps a slight issue-and no wifi information provided would be the only feedback.

It is close to the harbour, shops, restaurants etc but most importantly Hugh and Anne are just wonderful!! Their friendliness is second to none and you do feel like friends. Our room was fine for 2 adults and... More

Stayed once again at Hugh and Anne's place whilst visiting my daughter ib sunny Ilfracombe. Faultless hosts, lovely room, full Irish to die for. Can't be beat for value for being in the midst of things. See you both real soon.

The Acorn lodge has by far been the best stay we have ever had at any B&B. The hospitality has been first rate. I cant fault anything at all. I dont really think you could get kinder, friendlier hosts than Anne and Hugh. I would thourghly recommend this hotel to anyone going to ilfracombe as your first choice.

This wonderful Bed and Breakfast provides every guest with all that is required to ensure a break that is full of comfort and splendid hospitality. Ann and Hugh naturally show that they truly care and nothing is too much trouble for them. A warm welcome awaits each traveller and the breakfast provided is the tastiest that I have enjoyed in...
