Made to feel most welcome, pot of coffee on arrival served on front terrace (fortunately weather not to bad). Brilliant breakfast, comfortable bed and convivial hosts. Excellent b&b would not hesitate to recommend to others

I want to caveat this review by saying that I find it ridiculous the prices that you have topay in the UK for hotels. This little Devon town cost as much as Paris!! But for all that thie Acorn Lodge I guess is typical British seaside accomodation, quite basic, quite tired but despite that we had a pleasant stay. The... More

One set back was the fact that the menu lacked some of the items, but we did come late in the day and that was good enough as... More

We stayed in room 7 from the 3rd to the 6th. The rooms were spotless, the bed extremely comfortable and the room was equiped... More

Owner Hugh is the most RUDE, ARROGANT man I have ever met. The way he spoke to the other guests and myself was ATROCIOUS. The fact that he works in the travel industry is impossible to believe. I travel a lot with my business and I would much rather sleep on the beach than stay at the Acorn Lodge in... More
