We just booked for the one night as we wanted to extend our holiday by another day. Just what we needed, booked the Double En Suite which was perfect for us. Comfortable and clean, spacious room. T.V in the lounge downstairs and use of a good size and fully equipped kitchen. This is a great place to use as a... More

I stayed here in August for 4 nights paying £12.50p a night. I had a dorm bed which was comfortable though the room could do with some hooks to hang things. There are lockers and one chest of drawers. There is a good kitchen and a comfortable lounge, and the place is very clean. There is no parking and I... More

Really good stay, no car parking near which wasn't too much of a problem, good facilities and very friendly owners, only really annoying thing is the seagulls!!!! Noisy things but with windows closed you couldn't really hear them

We had a really nice stay at Maplewood. Mark the owner was very helpful and accommodating and helped point us towards some free parking nearby where we could leave the car. Everything was clean, tidy and in working order, and the beds were pretty comfy. The only real problem is that there is only one shower room and one bathroom... More

the service was really good as Mark spoke to me and advised me over the phone of parking restrictions before i had made my mind to stay here. Mark the owner is friendly, welcoming and helpful. I was impressed with this Hostel the way it looked tastefully decorated and was modern especially the bedroom. Our room had one double and... More

The location is very good - not on the busy shopping roads (so very quiet) but within short walking distance from the seaside and the High Street. We were in the highest room (9) - the view is amazing, the old roofs around and the sea as a landscape. The room was tidy and cosy, comfortable and quite large. The... More

8 of us stayed here for a night away after a hockey match. The place is clean and tidy and the owners were very helpful. There were a few complaints about the springs in the matresses but other than that it was great.
