A group of us planned a reunion on Lundy, me and the family stayed here the night before the ferry and then a week later on the way back. Excellent location for the ferry. This hotel delivered a clean room and a warm welcome. Highly recommended. more
The atmosphere and staff's approach is priceless, everyone is friendly, rooms are cosy and also good for the prince you pay, food is excellent (although I can judge only on soup and scones, which are simply the best!), staff is particularly helpful and informative (comes in handy if you don't know the area). Thank you for your review. We are very lucky with our location, being so close to the Harbour means that everything is accessible. We like to think that we do infact make very good coffee in the Cafe bar!

We chose this hotel as it had good write ups, and supposedley as it was a 4 star hotel. We have stayed in many hotels world wide but none as bad as this. When I travel with my family we usually pick boutique type hotels. With friends we look for value and a central location and this sounded good value if a bit tired (from the other reviews) but it was brilliant - we got a 3 huge rooms, one with a sea view from the bathroom. We were really happy wit our stay at the Capston. On arrival we were upgraded to the mini suite which has a separate extra single bedroom. Centrally located and ideal for all of Devons speldor, Harbour 1 minute away. Hotel bar & restuarant just been fully refurbished and fantastic! Our room was large and adequate and had all new soft furnishings, food and service great, hospitality and friendlyness superb and would highly reccomend. more

A great location next to the harbour - no hills for Granny to walk up. Great staff and excellent brekky - a great restaruant for lunch and dinner too.
