Travelled with Alfa. Stayed at Hotel from 11th October 2014 to 15th October 2014. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was adequate for a single person. room 400. hotel is a bit dated but none the less a good place to stay if exploring the North Devon area. Looking to return for another stay through Alfa again, possibly in May 2015.

Myself and husband have just returned from a 4 night stay at the Imperial. We went via Alfa coach tours, this deal was for breakfast and evening meal. The hotel was built in the 1800s, and is geared up for over 50s. The meals were very good, cereal, full English breakfast, Haddock etc. Evening meals were 3 course, with a... More

Alpha Travel, Euxton Lane, Chorley PR7 6AF 01 Sept. 2014 (attn. Miss Dunwoody) Dear Madam, Re: FORMAL COMPLINT. We attended your hotel in Ilfracombe from the 22nd to the 25th. During our stay I and my son were verbally abused by a member of your staff in the restaurant. I entered the restaurant with my son at 07:55, we were... More

Booked this hotel at the last minute after reading a few reviews on here. The hotel itself is fairly basic but was very clean and within a few yards of the beach. We didn't eat or drink here so I can't comment on that. The room we had was a twin on the 3rd floor. There's one lift in the... More

Visited on an Alfa tour. Arrived later than expected but were quickly allocated our rooms and dinner was served smoothly. The hotel is looking old but was clean and tidy. The staff were efficient and friendly. Sometimes reception was unmanned for short periods which was a bit frustrating. Food was very good and varied. The service was,on the whole, excellent....
