Hotel reception staff welcoming & friendly. Room was clean and good size. However, windows in room could not open, en-suite shower was very poor.. Breakfast was just ok certainly not quality produce. Good central location. Fine for basic short stay.

We were alocated this hotel by Diamond Holidays when we did a three night coaching holiday weekend. The hotel is tired and shabby. The room we were given overlooked a fire escape which was an eyesore. The toilet was constructed in four different colours, dark blue, light blue, black and white. There were cigarette burns in the "lino" and the... More

After just returning from a Diamond Coach holiday staying at the Osborne Hotel I was most unimpressed with not only the hotel but the meals and the management. Firstly the hotel was more shabby than chic and if like me you are a vegetarian than expect nothing more than a bake potato and cheese for your evening meal which to... More

The staff, most of which are family are all helpful and pleasant. The room was ok, all of them en-suite, the bed wasn't comfortable, but clean with ample towels. The whole of the hotel is need of a makeover, with a start already made at the reception and the painting of the façade. It was very busy when we were... More

Stoke-on-Trent Male Voice Choir party of 59 choir and supporters were 'on song' at the Osborne 9th-11th May 2014. We sang in Barnstaple with the Ladies Choir and all the staff(now friends) at the Osborne combined to make all our arrangements work without a hitch. Jude organised the dining room wonderfully well with dinner times to suit-bril. Yes some rooms... More

Sandi, Nick, Neil, Yvette and the rest of the family and staff always make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, the food excellent too.
