We loved visiting Ilfracombe and it was made truly special by staying at The Elmfield. Our room was beautiful and spacious with an amazing view. Our hosts, Zoe, Matt and their two lovely boys made us feel so at home. We enjoyed some homemade sloe gin upon arrival and a huge feast too! We went on a big coastal walk... More

Hosts Zoe and Matt were friendly, helpful and accomidating from the second we arrived, to the moment they hugged my partner and I goodbye. Our room was spacious and spotless and we were surprised with how quiet it was even with its secluded... More

We went to The Elmfield for two nights and loved it so much we ended up staying for three. We found it great value for money, with gorgeous rooms, excellent breakfast and lots of little extras (a drink on arrival, DVD's to borrow, an honesty bar etc...) Matt and Zoe were warm and welcoming and we felt really looked after.... More

We stayed as a family in a family suite at The Elmfield and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very child friendly and we felt more like house guests. The welcome and the ambiance were great! The rooms were comfortable and the food was excellent.

Staying for a couple of nights for a friends wedding at The Tunnels. Very good price and breakfast was very tasty, I especially enjoyed the coffee. Room was clean and comfortable with a very plush looking double bed. It has an indoor pool which we didn't have a chance to try.
